Johnny Football will start the season on the bench.
Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Johnny Manziel of No. 7 Texas A&M has been suspended for the first half of Saturday's season opener against the Rice Owls, a source told ESPN's Brett McMurphy on Wednesday afternoon.

this is ridicolous....dez got 10 games for lying? LOL
what a joke, I wonder if the outcome would be different if it wasnt some hot shot name pretty boy who was under investigation

The NCAA enforcement/compliance branch has always been inconsistent, but these days has transformed from inconsistent to remarkably incompetent.
Thank god they are so highly educated.....lol

To put this in perspective; the weather delay for the South Carolina/North Carolina game was longer than Manziel's suspension for signing memorabilia
