i am not an sec'er, but i dont hate them either.

this year bama plays 8of12 games @home. wisky plays in lsu territory. ucla, top10 team, has to travel cross country to play an unranked virginia team(yes i know uv is not sec). does anyone think bama would ever travel to virginia? a few years ago, oregon had to travel to bama for the opening game. i dont see bama playing at palo alto. i dont see them playing @ anywhere for a tough game. last year or the year before their toughest road game was pennST(9-4) I think. bama beat nd @miami and beat lsu for their nc's. kind of a pansy road to the nc if you ask me.

granted, like everyone else i believe the sec is the toughest conf top to bottom and deserve their status - i dont dispute that, in fact i admire sec fball ...but they never take it on the road to prove it. it seems to me that people feel playing in the sec is tough enough and therefore winning in the sec is all they have to prove. like how do you know you're a good kisser if all you do is kiss your sisters,,,,,,,,AT HOME!

Not your imagination, most SEC teams playing 8 or at least 7 at home the last few seasons.
Formula seemed to work in the BCS era though....we'll see if it still works in playoff era.
