so we're about a third of the way through the season and I'd figure since we're getting a decent amount of traffic (all things considered) for this board, i figured id make a Heisman thread for here.
im probably forgetting smoebody, so feel free to chime in if i did, but who do you feel is leading the Heisman Race thus far? the candidates I have are, in no particular order are:
Amari Cooper
Todd Gurley
Marcus Mariota
Melvin Gordon
Kenny Hill
who do you think is in the lead thus far?
I'm a bit of a homer, but I say Cooper. Not since Justin Blackmon has a wideout dominated like he has and nobody thus far has really separated themselves from the pack

ameer abdullah? leads the nation in rushing and his team undefeated. if nebraska beats msu next week, he ll be the top non-qb candidate imo.

Still going to stick with the guy I picked at the beginning of the season.....Marcus Mariota. Amari Cooper will the runner up.

Dak Prescott has vaulted himself into the conversation. Between this game vs the aggies and the very impressive road win at lsu he's probably at the top of the list for qbs

Watson should get some love but won't win this year at least.
I think Gurley will win it.

He has to know the rules but then again I think the rules are stupid.

I think Prescott deserves serious consideration. If MSU keeps winning he'll be a real strong candidate.
Abdullah has that Heisman moment from McNeese State but Sparty beat the hell out of him.
A little OT but I now vote for just about every award except the Heisman and O'Brien awards so if you feel passionately about a candidate for Biletnikoff, Bednarik, Tyler Rose (best player in/from TX), Rimington, Mackey, Lombardi go ahead and sell me. Although it's going to be hard to sell me on anyone but Amari Cooper for the Biletnikoff.

I think Kevin White from West Virginia deserves some Biletnikoff consideration. He is absolutely torching secondaries in the Big 12. I know it's an underachieving conference, but that kid has been lighting it up all year long.
