Should Alabama be ranked so high?

Alabama is ranked higher than a coiuple of big conference undefeated teams, and quite a few spots higher than Florida, yet between them and Florida,

Both have one loss. Florida on the road to LSU by 7 who Alabama beat at home by 14.

But Alabama lost AT HOME to Ole Miss who Florida beat by 28.

I guess this will be decided in the SEC championship and I hope Florida wins, but there really isn't a great reason Florida should be like 6 spots lower.

Also do you think if OK St or Iowa finish undefeated that they will leapfrog a one loss Alabama and/or Notre Dame?

Alabama will always have that factor to being above teams just because they're Alabama, it's dumb, but I've come to terms with it.

they will probably jump notre dame for sure, it would really send things into chaos for an undefeated power 5 conference champ to be left out in favor of a one-loss team. unless they really want to send a message about conference championship games

The only think that doesn't make total sense about the Big 12 and a conference championship game is that everyone plays everyone in the conference, since there are only 10 teams. All of the leagues with conference championships have two divisions and teams only play about half or fewer of the teams in the other division, so the schedules are not balanced, and a championship makes sense. Like I don't think Iowa play Ohio St, Alabama doesn't play Florida, and Utah doesn't play Stanford, so if they all meet in championship games, it makes sense.

SEC is not what it used to be, but that's a good thing. Nice breath of fresh air having a new conference be the conference of the country.

best conference is the one that has the half of the teams in top 6 and third of the teams in top 15.

The hardest opponent the current Big Ten leader has played is Northwestern.

Yeah 2015 draft class is kind of a moot point. The fact of the matter is, SEC is experiencing its down fall, maybe in 5-10 years they'll rise again. I hope not cause the amount of homerism that goes on down south is unbearable.

Are the 2006-2014 Draft classes moot points also? The 7 National Championships within that time frame?

It's definately not a fact that the SEC is experiencing its 'downfall'. That's just something you made up. And 5-10 years ??? Really? All I can do is laugh at that statement.

Yes, you can make the argument the Big Ten is slightly better this year but that's as far as it goes. It absolutely is not a fact.
