Thanks! Good effort though. I for one am not going to root against PSU because I do think they have a darn good team. Funny thing I was pretty dang respectful for quite awhile, but listening to PSU fans whine about the same thing over and over again gets old. You don't know anything about OSU, all you show is how jealous you are. Instead of admitting 2 loss teams don't get in, you try and ignore things like it never happened. You ignore how OSU beat UM who killed you, but oh when that doesn't fit the narrative you make excuses about injuries. Your PSU excuses are old and tired.

Better luck making the playoffs next year, the committee decided they don't want a repeat of MSU in 2015, so they left PSU out rightfully and put in the real B10 team. Get over it someday, or at least try.

What's funny is bondom after they won the conf championship said in multiple places I read that he doesn't care about how the voting played out and was just happy and will enjoy the bowl game. Then in this thread he posted a meme that appeared to be funny based on his (Meyer's) team getting in while not winning their conference (no matter when it was said, it's still a funny one he probably came across).

And he later stated they beat them h2h. Whether or not that's the best argument for who is a better team, it's a pretty good one. I personally don't always use it but plenty of people do.

Idk how many times h2h has proven to mean nothing, but it has many times. Take a look at Ole Miss and beating Bama last year, did that matter? Look at VaTech to OSU in 2014? Did that end up mattering? Look at Pitt this year vs PSU, does that matter? Well kinda bc that gave PSU 2 losses, 2 very bad losses at the time. I get that those teams weren't vying for a CFB playoff spot, but the point stands, teams lose games they shouldn't to teams they shouldn't. Happens all the time. A point they ignore is how OSU beat UM, a team that killed PSU, and thus nullified PSU win over OSU. PSU also needed OSU to beat UM, they needed help just like OSU did when Wash, UM, and Clemson all lost allowing OSU back in the rankings.

In essence, he said he didn't care about PSU not getting in, then went onto care A LOT. It's very clear looking through the two main threads of it. You quoting a post of your's and telling you about a meme I already mentioned isn't telling me anything. I never saw a post saying they SHOULD get in. I just saw him saying he doesn't care either way, before or after the games, such as "no matter what happens with the playoffs, I just want to win" before the game and when brought up elsewhere about the playoff voting before the votes "I don't care. I'm just happy". And while I'm sure he did care to some extent as would any fan, he probably knew it was a long shot and he sure as hell knew it wouldn't be at the expense of Ohio St. He did say they beat them h2h. To me, h2h victories in college football don't carry as much weight for a couple of reasons. One always has homefield advantage. None of these teams who beat each other won a road game.

He spent a whole day bashing OSU because they were in and his team wasn't. The point is very clear, he feels PSU was justified to be in, especially over OSU. Not sure what else you could possibly get from that. He pretended at first that he didn't care, but after PSU won the B10 his excitement took over and he all of a sudden felt that PSU was mistreated by the committee.

I agree h2h isn't the end all be all. It is better used as a tie-breaker, but in this case PSU has 2 losses, 2 bad losses at that. Had PSU been a 1 loss team, they would certainly be in at 2 or 3. What I really really don't get is his insistence that PSU owns OSU bc they beat us. You don't see UM fans trashing PSU fans for their win anymore and you know why, because OSU beat UM. They are smart enough to realize we all beat each-other. It's not like we are Wisconsin who lost to all 3.

I get that those teams weren't vying for a CFB playoff spot, but the point stands, teams lose games they shouldn't to teams they shouldn't. Happens all the time. A point they ignore is how OSU beat UM, a team that killed PSU, and thus nullified PSU win over OSU. PSU also needed OSU to beat UM, they needed help just like OSU did when Wash, UM, and Clemson all lost allowing OSU back in the rankings.

In essence, he said he didn't care about PSU not getting in, then went onto care A LOT. It's very clear looking through the two main threads of it. Believe it or not he actually agreed that OSU and PSU should get in, as did I. Then he proceeded to go against that saying OSU didn't win the conference so PSU should be in an OSU should be out.

You quoting a post of your's and telling you about a meme I already mentioned isn't telling me anything. I never saw a post saying they SHOULD get in. I just saw him saying he doesn't care either way, before or after the games, such as "no matter what happens with the playoffs, I just want to win" before the game and when brought up elsewhere about the playoff voting before the votes "I don't care. I'm just happy". And while I'm sure he did care to some extent as would any fan, he probably knew it was a long shot and he sure as hell knew it wouldn't be at the expense of Ohio St. He did say they beat them h2h. To me, h2h victories in college football don't carry as much weight for a couple of reasons. One always has homefield advantage. None of these teams who beat each other won a road game.

It simply comes down to overall win % here.

He spent a whole day bashing OSU because they were in and his team wasn't. The point is very clear, he feels PSU was justified to be in, especially over OSU. Not sure what else you could possibly get from that. He pretended at first that he didn't care, but after PSU won the B10 his excitement took over and he all of a sudden felt that PSU was mistreated by the committee.

I agree h2h isn't the end all be all. It is better used as a tie-breaker, but in this case PSU has 2 losses, 2 bad losses at that. Had PSU been a 1 loss team, they would certainly be in at 2 or 3. What I really really don't get is his insistence that PSU owns OSU bc they beat us. You don't see UM fans trashing PSU fans for their win anymore and you know why, because OSU beat UM. They are smart enough to realize we all beat each-other. It's not like we are Wisconsin who lost to all 3.

Don't think I said they don't deserve it.

Said I didn't think they'd get it. I still don't. They still should. They beat tOSU, and beat common opponents more impressively over the last month. If OSU deserved it they should have won when they had the chance.
