Initially I was annoyed by Louisville leapfrogging Houston, but I've come around on it. If Houston really wants to earn the right to be snubbed for the playoffs then they need to go through Louisville. We knew this already, but if Louisville is ranked higher then that adds to the David vs. Goliath aspect of Houston's journey.

I do think that Houston will defeat Louisville. I have that much faith in Tom Herman's ability to rally his team. If Houston beats a higher-ranked Louisville and finishes the season undefeated then that will make things that much more satisfying when the BCS snubs them in favor of a 1-loss Louisville and a 2-loss Oklahoma.

Not sure why Ole Miss and Oklahoma are still ranked. They're 1-2. I know they played the 2 best teams in the country but still. 2 losses is 2 losses.

You think there are 25 other teams out there that would beat these two schools?

Don't know about beating them in a head to head matchup right now. But there certainly a few schools who deserve to be ranked ahead of them at this very moment.

Season is still young, OU and Ole Miss will probably be ranked at the end of year, but after Week 3, sporting 1-2 records they don't.

I think it all sort of comes down to how you base your vote. Whether you think it should be based on purely how "good" you think the team is, or based purely on what they've done. I'm of the opinion that it should be the latter, so by that thinking, I don't care how closely they played the highly ranked teams that they did, a team who has won 33% of their games has no place in the top 25. Viewing it purely as how good you think they are, I can understand them being top 25.

I'm really pumped. We might lose, but haven't played this significant of a game in years.

Depends on how Wisconsin/Michigan and Louisville/Clemson go, but I can see them being in the 5-7 range

I reworked it a few different ways with the different scenarios that could unfold in today's games, and I think the highest that they could climb is #6. Mmmmmmaybe 5, but I don't think they leapfrog Houston, and I don't think they leapfrog the winner of Michigan/Wiconsin. They'll have plenty of opportunity to keep rising though in the next few weeks (@Oregon, @Utah, @Cal).

Maaaaan, I really wanna go to that Washington/Utah game...

No offense , but that's the worst list I've ever seen

Two Pac 12 teams in the #1 and #2 spots

They definately won't leapfrog the winner of Michigan/Wisconsin.

The Clemson/Louisville winner will stay in the Top 4 and probably move to 3rd.

Ohio State and Alabama will stay in the Top 4 too. Unless Kentucky shocks the world and beats Bama.

I'm gonna put Washington at 7th after this week. Basically the spot where Stanford was going into the week.
