Could be worse. They could be 4-4 and independent with their best victory coming over a MAC team

Byu is a decent program. Great school. Friend of mine currently goes there.

To be honest I don't have a real problem with BYU. I would never cheer for them, but I also wouldn't go out of my way to cheer against them. Just had to counter some smack with some smack. BYU doesn't have much room to talk on Utah this year.

If tanner mangum had been starting the sides could certainly be switched, but alas, he isn't, and my last season watching them for two years is gonna end up as an 8-4 campaign. Kalani will take us to the light however, so glad to have him on board!

Probably a somewhat likely outcome for the team. Which isn't bad against such a tough schedule. I certainly wouldn't overlook Cincinnati on the road though, that's not going to be an easy one in any regards.

I would be very surprised if Washington doesn't make the playoffs, Utah was the only other team worth a damn in pac crap

The Dawgs could face a rematch against Utah for the Pac12 title game.

Kind of a strange year for the PAC12. Washington St still undefeated in conference play, after losing narrowly to Boise St on the road. Not only have they beaten Oregon, Stanford, ASU and UCLA, but the former two were not even close. And then Colorado leads the south.

We could also legitimately have a Wazzou/Colorado championship as well, and they have both been terrible for years.

Damn, Boise State just gave away their undefeated season on a fumble-safety

So that's now 4 undefeated teams that went down today, with the possibility of Clemson still going down

Somebody's going down...I'm guessin' at least a couple of 'em.

Man, FOUR down, and Clemson is still in a battle...

Both FPI and Sagarin have 6 Pac-12 teams rated higher than Penn State.

and by this time tomorrow there will be 5 big ten teams ranked higher than second best pac 12 team, which acutally matters more than some online poll

glad boise lost, now we wont have to listen to ridiculous arguments about how they should go to playoffs because they are undefeated. they didnt even look like a top ten team at any point this season.

Yeah, but they probably would have crushed Northwestern

no, no, and no.

"...ranked higher..." in what ranking? If you mean playoff committee rankings, then no, they aren't out "by this time tomorrow". If you mean AP or Coaches poll, then no, it doesn't "acutally" matter more than Sagarin or FPI. And neither Sagarin nor FPI are "some online poll"; they're not even polls at all. And finally, no matter which ranking system you're looking at, in no case will there be "5 big ten teams ranked higher than second best pac 12 team".

So I don't even know what you're trying to say, but I still know that you're wrong on multiple levels. That's impressive.

make it 4 big ten teams ahead of 2nd best pac crap team, utah didnt fall as much as i thought. almost half of top ten comes from one conference, aint that something.

So which one "acutally matters"? AP or Coaches? Either way, can you explain?

explain what? second best team in pac 12 is ranked 16th and there are four big ten teams ahead of them, simple concept really. ap, coaches, cfp all more or less mirror each other, very rare you see a difference more than few spots. on the flip side sagarin has usc ranked 15th and mississipi ranked 16th with a 3-5! record, i'll bet you large amount of money neither of these teams will be anywhere near those spots on the cfp rankings when they come out next week.
