What are you excited for in this upcoming season? Who's your favorite to win it all? How well do you think your favorite team does? What team do you think will come out of no where and be really good?

Discuss!

I hate to tease myself by thinking too much about college football this far away from the season. But I think we're in for a phenomenal season. Some early predictions:

- The B1G is going to be very, very good. I'm expecting a very tight race in the B1G and I could very easily see two teams from the conference making the playoff
- Lamar Jackson wins the Heisman, and does it quite easily
- USC will be the team to watch. Very exciting team with excellent non-conference opponents (Western Mich, Texas, Notre Dame)
- LSU will win the SEC

I'm sad I'll be missing it :(

I can see BYU being very good next season (say this every year though), I need to find a designated friend to send me sports updates every week

BYU will be better than they were last year, and last year they were better than I thought they would be. Obviously they have another tough schedule this year, but IMO Mangum >>> Hill. I see them ending either 8-5 or 9-4, but looking all around better than last season.

I'm hugely psyched for the UW Huskies this year. I can't remember the last time UW entered the season as favorites to win every game on their schedule. The preseason polls have them 7th and 8th respectively, but I personally can't see how you can put them lower than 3rd or 4th. East coast bias. The Huskies have a Heisman candidate at QB, a top 5 and experienced OL, the strongest returning RB tandem in the country by yardage, the best LB tandem in college football, a great DL, and an underrated secondary in the light of the fact they lost some real quality to the NFL draft last spring.

The Huskies 14-0 and national champions. That's seems pretty clear.

I'm not seeing the pac12 this year. The top teams have too many losses personnel wise. Especially Washington and USC

While I do think the Pac 12 will be pretty down as a conference overall, Washington and USC are two teams that should be in every playoff conversation. They will both be VERY good this year.

UW lost a few guys on defense. But, they still have Jake Browning at QB. Dynamic RB's in Gaskin & Coleman. A very good O-line (one of the best in the country last year) & potential All-American Dante Pettis at Receiver. The D-line & Linebacker corps are also deep.

On top of that, they don't have any tough non-conference opponents. No USC on the schedule.

washington never schedules nonconference. their aim is to become west coast baylor, schedule cup cakes ooc then hope to sneak in by running through weak conference.

I think everyone is overlooking Colorado again. They lost some key players from last season, but they were a very good team last year and I think they'll sneak up on a lot of people. Looked really solid against Colorado State last night.
