Sure wish DIRECTV had that particular network.

PAC 12's network is a joke. They're not really affiliated with anyone

That spread opened at 30.5 and moved in Vegas to 33. That means A LOT of people put A LOT of money on Baylor to cover that. Haha.

Born in California. Became a USC fan when Mike Garrett and OJ were there. Wanted to be in the Trojan band. I'm wearing a USC T-shirt right now.

Needless to say, I took a bunch of s*** in 2006. But I will never root for the state school nor its little sister in College Station.

Hope those fans enjoyed the Art Briles era. It's over.

I love seeing UT lose because Austin goes nuts. Sports radio talks about them all year long and then they lose opening weekend to Maryland.

Funny thing is when I lived in Scottsdale (Phoenix, basically) in my younger years I remember being at a party and people knowing I was a decent sports gambler, and UCLA was 0-2 one year and had lost to two very good teams...can't remember who....but UT with Major Applewhite was favored over them by 10 and I'm telling these two guys at some party (guys that were going to bet on a game)...if there was one game I'd put money on it would be UCLA...they lost two tough games and UT is ALWAYS vastly overrated.

So I guess these guys put money on UCLA +10. UCLA won 66-3 I believe. These guys never left me alone every weekend after that for my pick of the week.

Years later I'm working in San Antonio and my boss went to UT, and we go to happy hour and him and an old friend we meet randomly start talking about that game and how terrible it was...I just start laughing.

Sorry for the long off topic story, but yes, they are always overrated....and I will never root for them either.

I generally always pull for all of the PAC 12.

If you got this far reading, if born in Cali and became a USC fan, how come you didn't become a Lakers fan?

Wow, huge missed pass interference call on Bama there in the endzone right before the half.

Had a co-worker whose son and daughter went to UT. He was at that UCLA game. His tickets were on the top row of the stadium around the 20 yard line. He told me that following Monday "they weren't far enough away".

I was a closet Celtics fan growing up. Caught the end of the Russell era and was a big Hondo fan. We moved to Texas in 1969 when I was 13 and I just wandered with the 70's NBA teams (dug the Unseld/Hayes/Dandridge Bullets a lot) until the Mavs came into being in 1980. Appreciated West but they and the Celtics both had tough runs in the 70's. Never really connected with the Lakers then and once the Mavs became competitive I learned to hate the Lakers... mainly because they were always in the Mavs way.

Also, Bama set to steam-roll the SEC again, go ahead and hand them their SEC trophy and pencil them into the final 4 for the playoffs already... Definitely nobody in the SEC that is going to stop them, per usual there's Bama and then everyone else. Bama going to prop up the over SEC again this year while they all ride their coattails again.

Man, Arkansas State just scared the crap out of Nebraska. Really would have expected more out of the Huskers, they looked awful.
