any undefeated power 5 conference champ (including conference championship games) is going to make the playoffs - unless there is an undefeated team in each conference

Time for Mike Leach, Luke Falk and the Washington State Cougars finally get some love from the Pac-12. Started following them a couple years ago. Can't believe Mike Leach doesn't get more love as a college head coach and this Falk kid looks like the real deal. Love what I am seeing from this program and it appears they have a very bright future. Extremely fun team to watch, they play the right way and I have been making a lot of $$$$ on them the past 3 years.

The Cougars under Leach just haven't quite broken out yet. Even last year, following a 9-4 season and a win against Miami in the Sun Bowl, they gaffed their first two non-conference games against Eastern Washington and Boise State. And then, of course, he's 1-4 against the Washington Huskies, having lost the last 4 in a row, and the last three of those total routs.

This year they are finally getting that recognition. They have some difficulties ahead, as they played their first 5 games this season at home, and end their season against Stanford at home, and then Utah and Washington on the road.

I could see this Cougar team going 10-2 this year. That would be a great year for them.

The only teams in the Husky's class are Alabama and Clemson. Those are the 3 best teams as of now. I remember hearing this announcer talking last night about Alabama's offensive and defensive efficiency stats, remarking that only one team was ahead of them in this way, Washington.

We held Cal to a negative 40 yards rushing last night.

YAY! Clemson loses. If the Washington Huskies win tomorrow, we move up in the polls again.

Clemson lost? WTH. I had Clemson vs Oklahoma in the finals. This season is puzzling and unpredictable. I'm out.

The guy who ran on the field should get some money for giving Cal an extra timeout before that touchdown

True cactus. But its fun to do. Then look back, no money in it, just lets see if it can be done. Anyhow, Oklahoma and Clemson are very very good teams. But you never know.

Washington State in danger of going down now, too.

Hey, it's Friday the 13th. 8-)

College football can be strange. Cal beating Washington State 27-3 in the 4th. Washington Huskies defense meanwhile virtually shuts Cal out last week. Washington State, however, beats USC a few weeks ago.

A lot can happen that you don't expect. Hell, Washington Huskies haven't beaten ASU in Tempe in like 16 years. They play them there tomorrow night.

We got ton of talent at USC. But we've lost a lot on the lines. Online and Dline. Which is why with linemen inexperience, I didn't see us going as far as we are capable of going.
