USC has got to find a way to get "unstuck" against Utah tonight. Problem is, Utah almost always makes it tough to get yards.

We'll see.

Is Sam Darnold being poorly coached? Sure seems like it. He seems to be regressing lately. Yeah, I know the O-line protection has been weak, but....

Yeah, I'll probably be doing a bunch of flipping between baseball and college football today. I think Texas actually keeps things pretty close with OU, should be a fun one to watch.

There is a huge high school football rivalry in Austin and they often play for the state championship between Westlake and Lake Travis. Sam Ehlinger (as well as Brees and Foles) went to Westlake, but Ehlinger could never beat Lake Travis. They would finish with one loss every year. Baker Mayfield went to Lake Travis, and came out this week and said "Ehlinger still could never beat Lake Travis."

That's awesome. Which is the one Todd Dodge is at?

USC looks quite flat tonight. Really nothing special in the first half. Utah is a solid team, but this is one USC should win.

If you had to create a reasonable script for how ASU would have outplayed WA in the first quarter, that was close to it.

Oh dear God, don't let that be a major injury to Trey Adams our LT. He's our first rounder in the draft next spring.

Curious and ballsy decision by the Utah coach to go for 2 there. If they were out of the conference picture I'd understand it a little more

ASU could not have played better so far in this game. My one consolation as a Husky fan so far.

Things not looking super great for the Pac 12 getting to the playoff right now. If Washington loses tonight they might not get a team in.

This was the game I was most worried about besides Stanford for UW. That said, WA played awful on offense, and ASU played a nearly perfect first half. I have to give them credit. They geared up and prepared for us in their bye week, and it paid off huge in the first half for them.

Let's remember though, Clemson got beaten by a poor Syracuse team. Shyt happens.

It's too bad AZ didn't start this guy Khalil Tate a little earlier. I mean last week he was 11-12 passing with a td and 14 rushes for 327 yards and 4 tds and this week 9-13 passing with a td and 15 rushes for 230 yards and 2 tds.

Both of their losses to SDSU and Utah were within a score and it was before he started with a much worse qb.

UW will probably come back against ASU though.

when he was at southlake carroll and i was allen his teams always kicked our asses. it helped that their qb's were Greg Mcelroy and Chase Daniel. we never beat him til he left to north texas. after he got fired he got hired there and ended allen's 50+ game winning streak and their quest for 4 straight state titles

That last ASU first down summed up the game for the Huskies.

Worst offensive performance by the Huskies in the Chris Petersen era. Two chip shot FG's missed that would have made it a tie game, and we should have gotten into the endzone at least one of those two times.

Props to ASU. They played great, we played lousy on offense. Our defense played good enough to win, however.

What a sucky night to be a Dawg fan.

First of all I am disappointed with my team's play calling, we keep running vs 8 man fronts. What the heck? Secondly though, I thought the huskies had the best chance of making it into the final 4. But I totally did not choose the pac12 anyhow. Nevertheless, with big losses this week all around. It still is anybody game. Heck, wazzu could still get it. But that's college football.
