The season is quickly heading towards the end. Still a lot of great things to come, but this time of year is always a little bitter sweet for college football fans.

The Freak is getting hot at the right time. I'm 9-1 the last 2 weeks including going 5-0 last week. Season total is 32-26-1. Hop on board while there is still time. The picks:

Northwestern +2 @ Minnesota
Gophers haven't been very good this year. Big performance last week against Purdue. I'm going with the Northwestern body of work in this one.

West Virginia @ Oklahoma State over 73
Shootout looming in Stillwater.

Wisconsin +4 @ Purdue
Purdue laid an egg last week. I would typically support a bounce back performance here. However, talk of the state the past day or 2 is Brohm going to Louisville. Lots of distractions in W. Lafayette.

Missouri @ Tenn +6
Vegas has liked Missouri more than I all year. Tenn is starting to role under 1st year head coach Jeremy Pruitt. Vols are at home and can clinch a bowl with a win which looked very unlikely to start the season.

Ole Miss @ Vandy over 67
Ole Miss scores a lot and gives up a lot. Typically a Derek Mason team is known for their defense, but they are giving up a ton of points in SEC play this year and their offense is fully capable of scoring on the putrid Ole Miss defense.

UTEP +7 @ W. Kentucky
Oh man toilet bowl game here. UTEP is awful. But, they have hung within a TD with some of the best in the conference. WKU is not one of the best. Not sure WKU should be favored over anyone by 7.
