I know Hawaii is a pass heavy school but this kid is amazing.
400 yards and 6 touchdowns at the half :o :o :o :o
This kid is a star and is going to lead Hawaii to an undefeated season.
Their biggest test will be Boise State.

Yeah I forgot about Washington.
What place did Colt finish in last years Heisman voting?
I thought he got like 3rd or 4th place.

Hawaii will steamroll Washington.

Brennan is almost guaranteed a top-5 spot unless he loses both legs in a freak accident. He just needs to diversify the portfolio a little bit, and that's between him and June Jones. But I see no reason why this kid shouldn't have a shot at the Heisman.

Colt got 202 votes last year for Heisman and was in 6th place.

hawaii needs a tougher schedule though... he seriously needs to get out of that division and join the pac 10 or something. that will be the pac 11?

OK, how about from an OSU fan who lives in Seattle...Hawaii will steamroll Washington.

Seriously, UW will not be as bad this season as the pundits assume, but they are not going to be a "great" team. They should finish around the middle of the Pac. Hawaii on the other hand is a dangerous team with a lot of experience. They are not push overs, especially on their own turf. The Huskies will be lucky to come out of that game with their dignity in tact.

I don't think it is the conference, I think it is the type of offense Hawaii runs. They are a pass heavy team and have been for a long time.
If you remember Timmy Chang was a great QB for Hawaii just a few years ago.
Chang is in Canada playing football now.

i never said anything about a push over. i don't think it's a "steamroll" situation. sure, hawaii has the weapons and is favored here but i believe the huskies will give a good fight.

I really think this kid needs more respect.

If Booty wins the Heisman, its not as if he went through the gauntlet to win his games.

USC's schedule is definately harder than Hawaii's, don't get me wrong, but if Booty were in Colt's situation (or any other QB in the nation for that matter) I don't think he'd be racking the same numbers he is.

QB Colt Brennan Throws For 548 Yards, 4 TD's In Warriors' Win
http://www.realgmfootball.com/src_wiret ... riors_win/
AP - Louisiana Tech didn't want to give Colt Brennan another chance, so the Bulldogs went for the winning 2-point conversion in overtime.

However, No. 20 Hawaii was up to the task. The Warriors knocked down the pass attempt to preserve a 45-44 victory on Saturday night.

Colt Brennan was spectacular again for Hawaii, going 43-for-61 for 548 yards and four touchdowns. The Heisman Trophy contender hooked up with Jason Rivers for a 6-yard touchdown on the second play of OT to put the Warriors up 45-38.

again, he was two point conversion away from losing the chance. Hawaii has to be undefeated until the bowl game and none of the other favorites finish undefeated.

It was odd to see him struggle early like he did last night.

If he has another game like that (I know the box score makes it look spectacular) his chances for the Heisman are going up in smoke.

Most likely the case. A loss against La Tech would have been the death knell for his Heisman hopes.

Hawaii wins 42-7 against a team that almost beat Wisconsin last week.
Colt goes 26-32 with 298 yards and 2 TD's.
