Well I figure if there is a thread about some DB from Illinois, then the best defensive player in college football deserves his own thread.

I'll predict it, he has a horrible year, and the Saint's draft him with the 32nd pick of the first round, and he returns to his beastness

If the Bills draft him that means they're in the Top 10.

It'll be a shining moment for a horrible season.

He isnt going to have a horrible year(hope you were joking), the guy is a best inside and should be a top 10 pick.

On the flip side Chris Long for Virginia looked average at best against Wyoming, he's getting a lot of press because he's Howie's kid and because he's good but dont know if he should be mentioned in the top half of round 1. The thing i did like about him is he can play anywhere on the line, doesnt take plays off and is the kind of guy you want to go to war with, why do the Patriots come to mind when i think of him?

Or, like, the Saints have a horrible year and draft him with the 5th pick of the first round.

That's an interesting argument as the season plays out. They do it in different ways but those two are certainly disruptive forces on every snap. Tommy Blake at TCU might have a say in it too, as will Laurinaitis.

FWIW I think both are surefire Top 10 draft picks, perhaps both in the top 4. Put Campbell at RE in Detroit, Dorsey in the middle of the Tampa Bay line next to Hovan, and those defenses are a heck of a lot better. Dallas sure could use an active widebody to anchor the 3-4 too, and they get the Browns pick near the top of the draft.
