Some random collegiate news

1. Franchione's f**ked. Highly doubt he keeps his job beyond this year. If he does, it's a bona fide miracle, or A&M has won out.
2. Surprise: Reggie Bush was paid money illegally in college. The NCAA will promptly do nothing, and I will never associate myself with someone whose name is as creepy as Michael Michaels.
3. Kansas State under investigation for shady grading of football players. Because it's not college football unless SOMEONE writes a paper for a linebacker for a class he doesn't go to.
4. First Pat Cowan, now Ben Olson out for three weeks. More McLeod Bethel-Thompson for everybody! Now if only Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada played in the Pac-10.
5. One of the best WRs you've never heard of is lost for the season. It's been an unmistakably tough year for Sammie Stroughter, but it's gonna get even tougher for the Beavers.
6. Other injuries: Wisconsin WR Luke Swan (hammy), John David Ass (finger), Nevada QB Nick Graziano (torn foot tendon), Texas Tech coach Mike Leach (broken arm; fell off his bike), and Florida S Tony Joiner (common sense portion of brain).
7. Not news, but this has to be one of the funniest f**king this I have ever seen.
