I know, I know, I'm pretty much only starting this because Oregon plays on a Thursday, but it's one of the better Thursday night games you'll see all year.

Bob Stoops went to Arizona to help Mike Stoops prepare for this game, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Bellotti is able to outcoach BOTH of them.

The only other real attractive games are:
Georgia-Kentucky
BC-Clemson
West Virginia-Cincinnati

Go Bucks!

Wait...you're saying Notre Dame and Duke isn't an attractive game?

I've been calling it "The Un-Bowl" all week.

GO ARIZONA!!!

Lol, it feels so weird to be rooting against Oregon, I've never had any reason to ever be against them in anything before.

But I wanna see Missouri win a national championship. This might be the closest the Tigers ever get in any sport before I die. :D

mizzoupacers, why not just root for LSU to lose the SEC championship game? That way, if Oregon and Missouri both win out, they'll play each other for sure.

It's a deal. LSU stole their team name from us, so screw 'em.

Looks like your Ducks have some work to do in the second half though.

That was the most deflating loss I've ever seen.

Dixon goes down. Stewart goes down. The referees erroneously give Arizona possession three times, take away a touchdown on a bulls**t penalty, and let Arizona block in the back while Cason returns punts. Everything bad that could've happened to Oregon happened in this game.

And, YET AGAIN, they proved that the only team that can beat Oregon is themselves. Especially with Brady Leaf at the helm.

^^Outside of the refs not calling the Ducks for an obvious facemask late in the game, I don't recall seeing any egregious mistakes on their part. That alleged push in the back on the punt return was an obvious flop (at a minimum the call could have gone either way) and the two fumble reviews that I'm sure you're talking about were absolutely the right calls. Even though I have a long-standing opinion that the entire Pac-10 officiating crew needs to be fired and replaced with trained monkeys (they WOULD do a better job), I have a hard time really finding fault with them tonight.

Really? What was the "fumble" on the fake punt to you? And Willie Tuitama's fumble late in the game? Those should've gone in favor of the Ducks, but no.

On Cason's punt, the very first man there (Boyd IIRC) was pushed in the back past Cason. A clear call in front of the official, and he didn't throw the flag.

re: the facemask, they weren't calling facemask penalties at all. Oregon definitely got away with one, but Arizona (Cason again) got away with one as Oregon was driving (this is before they knocked Stewart out of the game). They also failed to call late hits on any side. Hell, the ONLY call they were making all night was defensive offsides.

Also, Mike Stoops is a dirty coach. That's the third time in three years the Oregon QB has left the game injured (all knee injuries or below) in UO-UA games. And they almost never stopped at the whistle.

you're letting emotion get the better of you.

stoops is an sob and a mediocre at best coach, but dixon's injury was non-contact. unless the hot air exploding out of stoopid's upper neck appendage caused dixon's knee to give, that's just a bad break. cal's season went down the crapper because an oregon player hit longshore low and late.

the tuitama overruling was correct. the tv replays clearly showed his knee was down before he handed the ball off.

unless you get absolutely thrashed, you can always say that your team just beat themselves.

qb injuries have killed pac10 teams. usc with booty, cal with longshore, and now oregon with dixon.

I don't know what's going on anymore. When this regular season ends, someone let me know how things will shape out, I'm gonna go drink and see if the standings sort themselves out
