Missouri is ranked Higher than 5 BCS team, and beat Kansas and Illinois. They get the very spare Cotton Bowl. I know, cause I live in Dallas. Granted, they were not a championship team this year, but they deserver better than a 2nd tier bowl. I am also a texas fan who whined our way to a bcs game in 2004.
Missouri deserves better than this.

IMO the win over Illinois should have cemented Mizzou ahead of Kansas even if you can somehow overlook how Mizzou dominated Kansas.

I guess. It was a week 1 win by a touchdown over a very young team whose starting QB was out.
Mizzou should have been in over Kansas because the latter played a non-BCS conference schedule, basically. Imagine if Hawaii had lost to Washington or something - they'd still have better wins than Kansas (worse loss, but follow me), but no one would complain that they were left out.
