Tebow. Don't see how you can call him a system quarterback. Alex Smith's numbers weren't anywhere near as big and played in much weaker competition, and Chris Leak did nothing like this last year. There's simply no basis for saying a lot of other people could do what Tebow did this year.
Meanwhile the guy you're championing, there was another guy on his team playing the same position who rushed for over 1000 yards with light years better YPC. I do think McFadden deserves his spot as a finalist, but it's not like he had a season for the ages, and he doesn't get to pull the "everyone else is a system player but no one else could succeed in his position" card.

This is yet another example of how crazy and awesome this college football season has been. At the start of the year, who were supposed to be the top Heisman candidates? I'd have said in this order: Brohm, Booty, McFadden, Rice, Slaton, Pat White, Mike Hart, maybe Brennan. How many "flavor of the month" types have come and gone since then? Matt Ryan, Dennis Dixon, etc.
I've also been reading about how this should have been a year when a defensive player is considered. The popular suggestion is Glenn Dorsey. I admit I haven't watched every down of every LSU game this year, but from what I've seen, I think Dorsey's reputation is bigger than his game. He got taken out of a lot of plays, especially in the Florida game, which the team won in spite of him, not because of him. He's a fine defensive lineman, but not as dominant as past Heisman candidates like Steve Emtman (best defensive lineman of the last 50 years) and Warren Sapp. If I had to pick a defensive player I'd go with OSU's linebacker, Laryngitis or however you spell it.
My vote: Tebow.
