Ohio State it is for T-Pry

Post#1 » by CJ_18 » Wed Mar 19, 2008 3:21 pm

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Highly regarded prep quarterback Terrelle Pryor says he will attend Ohio State.

The quarterback from Jeannette High School near Pittsburgh announced his decision Wednesday.

Pryor is picking Ohio State over Michigan, Penn State and Oregon.

Pryor held a similar news conference last month, but decided at the last minute not to announce his choice that day.

Pryor is the only Pennsylvania player to both rush and pass for at least 4,000 yards in football. He also scored 2,285 points in basketball. For now, Pryor says he does not plan to play basketball in college.

:rocking:

good choice my man, good choice.

Pryor+top O-line class+great RB+great defense= domination. he should be able to develop well behind Boeckman in his first year then turn into a possible heisman candidate starting his second year. if beanie decides to stick around that will make one scary team. michigan should forget about beating us at least 3 more years.

btw, i expect an apology from all the sweatshop-loving duckies and rest of the west coast homers. if you would ve listen to turco 2 months ago, you wouldnt get excited with empty dreams.

OSU strippers have done it again.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

This just means Ohio State will get 1 or 2 more chances to lose to the SEC in the championship game.

I just hope for Pryor's sake he lives up to the hype. I'm not just saying that as a Buckeye fan either; this reminds me a great deal of Jeff George circa 1986. And look what happened to him--two rival colleges where he never found the Rose Bowl, one of the biggest disappointments as a 1st rounder that side of Ryan Leaf, all that wasted potential in a kid who clearly peaked early. And OSU's track record with stud QB recruits isn't real pretty either.

Having said that, I'm real glad he made the right choice. It's been a lot of fun hearing all the Wolverine sycophants around here trying to play it off like he sucks and they didn't really want him anyways.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

I'm mildly surprised but I think the writing had been on the wall for a month at least.

Sucks that he wouldn't come out West for a visit, but whatever. Can't miss what you never had.
