Overrated: whoever USC lines up at QB, probably Mark Sanchez. Wasn't anything special last year in his limited time and beating out Mitch Mustain is looking like less and less of a feat with every passing day. Now, if Aaron Corp wins the job, feel free to suspend this pick. Another good one is Phil Loadholt, who is twice the man I am physically but was abused against West Virginia and seems to have a lot of trouble with smaller defenders. Or he's lazy.
Underrated: I think this list starts with Eric Berry. I've been on record as saying how terrible Tennessee defensive players really are, but this kid is a star. People know about him but I think he's a little underestimated in even the SEC. I'll also be a gentleman and toss the tag on Howard Croom, Oregon State's TE. I don't know why people don't watch out for him more; he's not very fast but he can do just about everything and he has decent size to boot.

Overrated: Pretty much the entire USC roster, which has done a hell of a lot less than any team with all that freakish talent should have done so far. Primarily the offense, because I do think most of their defense is legit.
Percy Harvin is thrilling to watch but he's really not all that great a player. Jeremy Maclin is better but you hear a lot less about him.
Macho Harris is not up to the level of prior VT CBs but he gets lauded right with them.
Underrated:
Besides Maclin, I'll put three guys up...
1. Mike Minter, CB, Cincy. Best overall CB in CFB IMO
2. Ryan McDonald, C, Illinois. Best C east of the Mississippi but I bet 98% of CFB fans have never heard of him. And I'm not just putting him on here because I'm friends with his dad
3. Jermaine Gresham TE Oklahoma

Who overrates Juice Williams? He's an average-at-best passer who's a good runner and pretty good decision-maker. I don't think anyone has him as an all-american, but he's a weapon.
underrated: Javon Ringer from MSU. he should be the 2nd best RB in the big ten in '08-'09, just behind Wells. Fun kid to watch.

I've always though PJ Hill was pretty underrated. If he just stay healthy, he'd be a top 3 Big Ten RB.

Juice Williams? He barely gets talked about in the national media and he was only a sophomore last year.

Overrated?
Whoever notre dame puts at quarterback because they are always over hyped to begin the season just because its notre dame.
Underrated?
Im goin to have to go with Jeremiah Johnson, oregon running back, he is one of the best open field stiff armer's i have ever seen. he has great acceleration and speed, but has the power back ability to run through someone when the situation calls for it. with j stew gone he will get a lot of carries so his numbers i think will be big.
