I'm anxious to see Art Briles's debut at Baylor.

Art Briles' team is going to get beat by 50. Riley Skinner is fo real.

Best matchup of the night is, without question, OSU-Stanford. Anyone who thinks S.Car-NC State will be worth their time is full of s**t; neither team will be able to move the ball on each other all game.

Beavs fans (KIE, basically) should be worried about Stanford, a team that may go bowling this year.

Where has the King been lately? I guess he only comes out during the season.

I agree with PNF about Stanford, they look mighty crafty, and might sneak into the chicken coop with some big wins and maybe even a bowl berth (*breaks pencil*).

I was at the Central Michigan-Eastern Illinois game. Yawn. Dan Lefevour had a workmanlike night, nothing special. EIU has a DE who really caught my eye, Pierre Walters. He could play in the Big Ten.

Got home in time to watch the last 10 minutes of the OSU/Stanford game. I feel real bad for that Beaver receiver who made a real poor decision to try and score on that play. Hard to fault a kid for trying to make a big play--that's why you have to watch CFB different than you watch the NFL.

Score that really caught my eye: Buffalo 42, UTEP 17. Buffalo might actually have a legit MAC football team--they've never scored more than 32 points against a D-I opponent before. I realize that UTEP sucks, but it's still an accomplishment. More bad news for my Bobcats...
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

I know NC St. is more of a basketball school, but c'mon... that was disgusting.

oregon state never fails to have an early season clunker or two. at least they kept it in conference. it'll suck if they turn into a pretty good team again by seasons end and no one takes a win over them seriously because of crap like this.

I didn't get a chance to see the game until last night...and I wish I didn't watch. I'm not all that hopeful for OSU this season. While the defensive line looks to be better than expected, the offense (especially Moevao) is not showing the improvements needed. The Rogers brothers are going to be exciting all year while Sammie Stroughter and Shane Morales will offer very good targets for the passing game. I just don't have much confidence in Moevao being able to lead the team efficiently or in the offensive line to consistently provide time for plays to develop.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

I've just been real busy lately and haven't really been paying attention to football as much as I did last year.
