Georgia squeaks by the Cocks and Florida doesn't even play, yet Oklahoma has been playing (arguably) the best football in the nation these first three weeks, yet they don't get one single first place vote, but are #2?

Clemson is back in the Top 25, and so are the Noles for the first time in a long while, though I'm not sure why.

Why'd these guys put Georgia at #1 if they're just going to drop them after each win? South Carolina's defense is as stout as any defense in the country when they're playing well. Plus it was a rivalry game on the road. Georgia isn't the flashiest team in the country, but when push comes to shove they'll be on top. People want to talk about OSU without Beanie, Georgia has lost their best OL (the LT no less) and their best DL for the season.

But I'll continue to say, as long as they show Georgia love at the end of the year these polls don't matter.

georgia gets 2 votes and florida gets 1?? what kind of crap is that, cmon, just unbelievable. we travelled 3000 miles to body slam virginia. and then come back home to lay the smackdown on OSU. yet some guys vote for georgia and florida for the TOP spot? or even oklahoma?

man, we are in trouble if we struggle against arizona or cal this year. these pollsters are ready and willing and looking for any excuse to vote USC out of the BCS title game.

ROFLMAO. As long as USC doesn't lose twice, they are in this year, unless they pull a stanford again.

Maybe cause they barely beat SDSU.

I expected Georgia to drop a spot or two and I don't expect them to get any respect from the voters. People won't look at the fact that South Carolina is full of players that are from Georgia, as they only care about the Georgia/Gators matchup, or the Georgia/Tenn matchup, so for the time being Georgia just needs to make sure they win any not worry about the polls.

Who are the four geniuses at the AP that cast votes for the Golden Gophers to be ranked? I mean seriously.

Probably the same four that voted for Northwestern, as well.

On another note, I think Air Force is not getting enough respect right now. I'm asking for a spot in the Top 25, but some votes would be nice. They have their statement game this weekend vs. Utah, and could really jump into the spotlight with a big win.

Yeah, them and TCU do not get the respect they deserve while Arizona "freaking lose to UNLV" State is STILL in the top 25..

The Pac-10 sans USC is an absolute abomination right now and should forfeit their BCS bid to the MWC.

And Air Force WON'T beat Utah :)

tcu gets plenty of respect, then they always lose to some bunny to piss away there potential perfect season (and i say this as a person who likes TCU) that offense is always to stagnant, gary pattersons one fault

september 27th will be an interesting game when they play oklahoma, but this week they have a chance to pound on SMU

i wonder if okie st. will get in the top 25 before conference play starts, we play troy this week who beat us last year and put a whuppin on alcorn st. last week, the cowboys defense sucks but our running game has been great and dez bryant is a fun player to watch.

I'm not holding out too much reserve for AFA to beat Utah, but I think they have a shot. I root for all of the Armed Forces schools to do well, but them in particular, since my uncle played for them in the late 70s.

Congrats on beating this great Virginia team. Your win gets even more impressive after the Cavaliers just barely lost at UConn by more than 30 points... beatin the mighty Buckeyes is another thing to be really excited about as we see. Hell, Ohio almost managed to beat them.

Screw all these stupid rankins and all that crap, now it all doesn't matter. All I know the rest of USC's schedule is a giant cakewalk while LSU, Florida, Georgia and Auburn will all slub it out against each other.

Don't ever list Auburn in a list of good teams again. Winning 3-2 doesn't make you good. It makes you and the team you were playing totally pathetic. I am appalled Auburn is even in the top 25 after that abortion of a game.

No, I'm not hating on them. But when USC start to brag about their schedule and how they might be treated badly in the polls, things need to be put in perspective.

And to Ghosten, Auburn might not be a top team right now yet I want to see someone who says going into Jordan-Hare in a SEC rivalry game isn't a tough task. Then again, even if we don't count Auburn, LSU, Florida and UGA all play each other this year, so this is clearly the toughest road to the championship...

Auburn's defense is top notch. That alone makes them a good team, anything they get on offense is a plus. I'm sure they'll get better at that new spread as the year goes on. (abortion of a game?)

OK son, now the SHOW is gonna take you to the woodshed!

NO TEAM . . . and the SHOW will repeat that to you again . . . NO TEAM FROM THE S.E.C. can hang with USC. we would spank, shank and take any of those teams to the bank. you go ahead to the south . . . and tell ALL YOUR BOYS from down yonder, that they should remember what happened when we faced off with auburn. remember cadillac or brown? we turned him into dump truck and yellow. remember that arkansas team that went to the SEC championship game? we threw 70 and 50pts on that team! SO DONT BRING THAT SEC stuff and attempt to compare it to us, because we have ownership papers on that conference . . . and they know it.
