This should be a great game tomorrow. The winner of this game will be in the title discussion. Cant wait to see Julio Jones play for Alabama and Knowshon Moreno and Matt Stafford once again for the Bulldogs.

Prediction

Alabama 24
Georgia 27

As I said in the other thread: If Georgia's OL plays well then it will be a fairly easy win. Not a blowout, but one that's never really in doubt. Must say I'm a little nervous about the OL. Without Sturdivant the OL has been shuffled around each game. Hopefully they find the right combo soon.

And BTW, Green > Jones. :D

I'm interested to get another look at Terrence Cody.

Nice drive by Alabama. That is what you have to do to beat Georgia. Kill time off the clock.

Georgia needs to step it up or it's going to be a long night.

A.J. Green is going to be a great player but he needs to keep the ball and not force turnovers. Potential is there though.

Damn 31-0.

This is making that WISC a little easier to swallow, but not that much :(

Well, this game is over already. No way we can outscore them by this much in the 2nd half. I was afraid of a game like this. We have had one each of the last 3 years. Last year it was Tennessee who played the game of their lives, this year it's Alabama. Everything that could go wrong has. A TD on a "roughing" the passer negating a turnover, a TD after a shanked punt, a TD after Green just handing the ball away. But regardless, Bama is 100x more prepared and they're taking advantage of Georgia's weakesses. Props to them, they may give LSU a run for their money.

I knew Georgia wouldn't go undefeated with this brutal schedule, but I didn't expect to lose this game. Much less get taken to the woodshed. At least it's an early loss and not against the East. We can respond like we did last year and win out. Maybe find ourselves right back where we're at.

Just about every team in the top ten has been exposed as "overrated." Oklahoma and LSU are the only two staying strong.

Nice to see Georgia put up a fight in the 2nd half, but they feel victim to the terrible start again. Just one of those crazy weekends, everything went Bama's way in the first half. They definitely deserved to win this one, though. Hope to meet them again in the SECCG if Georgia is able to put this game behind them and win out.

exactly what ive been tellin you folks. its a long season. well just have to wait to see how it pans out in the end. heck, texas plays okie. mizzou gets their day in the sun. LSU and alabama will be taken for a ride this season. USC is standing strong because we lost early, the problem is, i didnt think this many teams would ALL LOSE this early with them. usually the effect is, lose early, and creep up as all the teams lose as the season goes on. but its a blood bath in early season play.

At least they made up for the points they gave away in the first half.

The game did not live up to the hype.

The scary scenario is OSU making the title game again with Pryor looking strong.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Well, if Georgia isn't able to make it I wouldn't mind seeing OSU lose again. Maybe Pryor would make it a close, exciting loss. And it seems like all these hyped matchups have been duds so far.

Not to make excuses but before the season, when Georgia got ranked No.1, they still had their starting LT, their starting NT, their starting FB (who btw are all All American worthy and All SEC players) and tonight they also lost Dannell Ellerbee, All SEC starting inside LB, on the first drive...

Add those players and UGA was hardly overrated in preseason.

Yeah, Georgia just self destructed in the first half. I mean theys neglect a fumble on the first drive, give away 50+ yards on the first 3 drives because of penalties, have a punting average of freaking 24 yards and on top of that lose a fumble that would have been a first down. Not to make excuses or take anything away from Bama, but if Georgia even makes half of these unforced errors, the game is a lot closer... if...

BTW terrible gameplan by Willie Martinez - corners way to far back, not nearly enough blitz packages and pressure. Everybody knew the front 4 wouldn't get much pressure against Bama's Oline so bring the fast LBs against a QB who gets rattled easily.
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

It's been apparent the Georgia teams not as strong as some predicted before the season started. It's easy to push the team to the side but don't forget how many key injuries the team has suffered.
