Oklahoma's defense is a joke. Oklahoma's offense has not seen a good defense up to this game. I will go with Florida 42-28

i like Florida here but Oklahoma should not underestimated quickly. true, Florida has the better defense but Oklahoma has their share of playmakers on the defense and you never how well they might play as a unit, in the biggest game of the season. on the offensive side, they have as much, if not more weapons than Florida.

still, gotta go with Florida, i am especially impressed with their resilience.

Florida 45
Oklahoma 17

Sure, OU played in the Big 12 with those high octane offenses, but the speed of the Gators will be way, way too much for them to handle.

I can't believe how much better a Texas/UF matchup would've been.

Florida is going to have a huge crowd similar to LSU last season in the game.

WOW, once again, several have this pegged totally wrong. oklahoma wins this game. and they will expose tim tebow and his flaws in this game. more explanation will be conveyed as the weeks go on. but OKLAHOMA will win the national title. although if they played USC, we would crush them by 50.

I'm not sure if Oklahoma's D can stop florida's stupid but effective offense. What i do kinda wish happens is Florida dominates, Tebow feels amazing, declares, then completely sucks in the NFL because there is NO way he will have ANY kind of success in the NFL with his "quarterback skillset"

I think florida will win, but if you wouldve given me SC and Florida in the ship, SC would dominate.

You do know USC only won 1 game by 50+ this year, yet you claim they'd beat any of the top teams by 50.

Murray to have surgery, miss BCS title game

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma Sooners running back DeMarco Murray will have surgery to address a partial rupture of his left hamstring tendon and will not play in the FedEx BCS National Championship Game against Florida Gators on Jan. 8.

Murray, the Sooners' second-leading rusher, was injured on the opening kickoff of the Big 12 Championship Game on Dec. 6. The Sooners initially thought Murray had sustained a bruise, but an MRI revealed the injury to be more serious. Surgery has been scheduled for Dec. 22., the university said.

The school said that according to head trainer Scott Anderson, it will be about five months before Murray is cleared to resume training.

Re-fixed

I don't hate the Gay tors, but I'm a little bitter(totally pissed) that Utah won't get a chance to beat the coach that used them as a stepping stone, and then left them high and dry.

Many people predicted Utah would lose their recruiting power when Urban Meyer left.

His replacement, Kyle Whittingham, was considered an amateur compared to Meyer. His first few years left a lot of doubt, but this year is the friggin cherry on the Sunday. Utah soundly beat a very questionable Pitt team in their first BCS appearance, but this Bama team was for real. NOBODY gave the Utes a chance against this Alabama team, except for the fans and the the Utes themselves. No doubt Whittingham had a better team this year than Meyers team in 04, at least in my opinion.

13-0 BABY!!!!!!

The dude is a great coach, but I hope the Sooners spank his ass. 8-)

Good luck to the Gay tors and Sooners in the whatever Bowl.

Best of the defeated. Shweet.

Sooners suck... Gators will win, though I'm not predicting the score.
