No disrespect to my friend El Turco, but I don't think Ohio State deserved to be on one of the better BCS Bowls.

I'll go with Texas 35-21

well, Tech had a better season but they were ineligible, you can make a case for Boise, but Ohio State would ve gone undefeated with their schedule and would beat them head to head.

as for the game, Ohio St s o-line concerns me but they have the defense to hold Texas back. Texas' does not have good running game and Ohio St s secondary is capable of shutting down Texas' receivers. key to game is whether Pryor and co. can take care of the ball so that Ohio State defense doesnt have to spend entire game on the field, just like they did against USC.

Ohio State stays perfect in non-title BCS games and wins in a close game, 24-21.

I truly think this could go either way, but will be a blowout either way. Weird?

Great chance for Pryor to prove himself in the big national spotlight.

This should be a great game. I dont think either team will have a huge lead.
I have Texas winning 24-21.

some of you folks absolutely have no idea about football. this game is tailor made for ohio state and jim tressel. and the SHOW will explain that as the weeks go by. but OHIO STATE wins this game, and it will make everyone feel good about themselves for voting oklahoma to the title game.

ahahaha, well turc, as they say, 90% of all statistics, can be made to say anything. 50% of the time.

but i'm sold on it anyhow, ohio state takes down texas and they have the defensive style, strength and gameplan to lockdown colt mccoy.

another key is pryor, he was green and we scared him at the beginning of the season. but at this point, side by side with beanie, he will play a huge role in this 10pt under dog pulling off this upset.

I vote for the underdog.

Ohio - 53

Texas - 0

Let's face it, The National Champion, Utah, would smoke both these chump teams.

Wait,... maybe I haven't been fair.

Which one of these teams didn't lose this year??

The undefeated one places second next to Utah.....Fair is fair.

Boise/TCU were screwed out of this game, it is a travesty that OSU is playing in this game.

dont be hatin' cuz you can't deny ohio state brand. maybe if those mwc teams have undefeated seasons next two decades they might be good enough to get the preferential treatment ohio state gets.

Please, you are not better than TCU, they would blow tOSU out.

And I'm obviously rooting for the Buckeyes but I doubt this one is even in question for Texas.

You can only play who you are told to, and TCU beat ever team except the possible #1 & 2 teams in the final poll.

and that doesnt entitle them to anything, they havent beaten anybody. frankly, i dont ever see a 2-loss or even a 1 loss non-bcs team playing in a bcs bowl.

moot point anyways, bowls are sponsored by corporations and given the chance no business minded person would take boise or tcu over ohio state. ohio state name and brand means more cash and more ratings, it is going to take while-if ever-for mwc teams to have that prestige. heck, even fiesta bowl took ohio state over utah despite having two more loses.

Eh I thought that was actually a bad spot for the Longhorns. It should be moved up a yard.
