Dec. 23 Bowl Games OFFICIAL THREAD

San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl: Boise State vs. TCU

This game's kinda on right now, so I'm spoiling it. Initially, I picked Boise State because I'd seen them in person and I loved their mix of both offense and defense. They're winning 10-0 right now and making me look good. But TCU isn't chopped liver and the ranking is justified, though I still believe Boise State should be ranked in the top seven.

Boise State's backup DE just picked off a TCU pass and returned it 50 yards. If that isn't the top play on SportsCenter, I don't know what is. That was awesome.

TCU's defense has really picked it up and I don't even remember the last time Boise had a positive yardage play from their offense.

And Aaron Brown from TCU is playing incredibly..I don't understand why they're not using him more.

13-7 Boise at the half.

Props to the Horned Frogs. I never thought Boise State would lose a game this year.

Man Notre Dame put it on Hawaii tonight. Clausen had 400 yards to offense.

We should break our 8th game bowl losing streak also. We can;t lose to Air Force twice in a row right?

im not surprised tcu beat boise, if tcu didnt make so many mistakes the score wouldve been a lot bigger they just killed boise in the 2nd half. if freakin tcu's kicker could make a damn fg they'd be in a bcs game over utah

what a terrible field to play on w/as much slipping as going on which is part of what led to bryant getting hurt

I agree, Oregon had no answer for Bryant and when he went out it looked like Robinson was shaken. It was nice to see Bryant really show off his considerable skills in a meaningful game, and I applaud him for trying to tough it outt when his team was clearly looking to him to lead.
That INT by the Duck on his heinie was pretty sweet though.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Hey Jeff, I'd love to see an article from you on draft prospects and whether or not they helped or hurt their status in these bowl games, if you wouldn't mind cobbling something together.
