Utes were just 100 points away from a split title, oh so close.

TCU made a big jump to #7.

And how Ohio State is in the top 10 is beyond me.. Oregon should be top 10 no question.

that holiday bowl was very entertaining. especially the part where the QB runs over the oklahoma state defenders. continuously. one of the highlights of what seemed to be a loooonng bowl season. 2nd only to the first half of the rosebowl. a truly awesome display of firepower and excellent dancing moves, as was displayed by USC players doin the "soulja boy." truly incredible.

oregon is too high. but, i guess beating the the 4th best team in big 12 south with its best player missing much of the game has it s merits

ohio state is fine where they are, no other team with the exception of maybe texas tech has the resume to jump over ohio state.

florida is the deserving number 1, but props to utah, this is probably as close as that state will ever come getting a title.

If I were to arrange spots 8-11, it would have to be Ohio State, Oregon, Boise State, Penn State. Although those spots are extremely flexible and I do feel dirty putting the Ducks ahead of a BSU team that beat them.

Ole Miss and Virginia Tech should switch spots; tie goes to the better bowl/record. Cal should also be in the top 25; take out Florida State, since no one likes the Criminoles anyway.

I have my doubts that Ohio State could beat Oklahoma State. I just don't know that Ohio State would have been as conditioned to defend a spread offense as Oregon was; the defense got much better as the game went on.

ohio state does not lose to middle of the pack teams, period. with the exception of illinois, every team that beat ohio state last three years finished in top ten with 4 of 6 finishing in top 5. ohio state games are more or less a litmus test for college football elite and wadr, ok st does not fit in such group.

you can't really put oregon over boise and ohio state over penn state. it has to be penn state, ohio state, texas tech, boise, oregon.
