Why will Georgia Tech win? Iowa's D is the perfect type to stop GT.

Terrelle Pryor announced today that he's been playing with a torn PCL but is active for the Rose Bowl and likely to start.

First of all, uh, wow.

Second of all, this suddenly favors Oregon like none other, because while Pryor is still a threat in open space, Oregon fans have firsthand experience with partial tears in knees. Tressell will probably go even more conservative, which benefits the Ducks.

SEC is pretty good, pretty soon they'll be up there with the Pac-10

nice one kangol, while i give props to the SEC. they have escaped us the past few years. because i truly believe that only USC, can and will be able to defeat an SEC team in a head to head matchup.

when we have played those teams, we put like 70 and 50 pts on those teams.

and thats the key matchup. no one wants to see the sec anymore against the big12, acc, big10 etc...

the only matchup everyone wants to see is USC vs. the sec. again, theyve escaped us in past years, where i without a doubt know we wouldve blown them out in the big game. but time and THEE off year has finally caught up with our program this year.

The SEC is still on top, but that was a weak showing tonight. Bama should have murdered them without McCoy. Gilbert was 1-10 for -4 yards and 2 INT including a terrible pick-6 in the first half, but somehow that game was 24-21 with Texas having the ball to tie or win at the end. You can't say for a fact that Texas would have won with McCoy, but...they would have won with McCoy.

Of course, an unimpressive National Championship win is still a National Championship win. So congrats to Bama.

That might have been the worst QB matchup in the history of semi important games.
