That of course is a way bigger margin than .038 while Andruw still has another 6-7 good years ahead of him.

Greatest.Logic.Ever. Let's judge a player on what he did last year and this year, yay. This is exactly why Jeff Kent will be considered a better player than Craig Biggio I guess.
Yeah, and Jones could have a career ending injury tomorrow.
As of now, and the next couple years Edmonds will and should be considered the greater player.
Also I'm curious as to how you know a player is coming into there prime. Because you said Andruw is just coming into his, but you really can't prove that in any way. Just because Edmonds had has best years age 30-35, sure as hell doesn't mean Andruw will. For all we know Andruw is already past his prime.
Like I said earlier this is huge:
Edmonds has 6 full seasons were his EQA is better than Jones' best.
Theres no way you can say Jones is a better player than Edmonds was currently. Yeah, you can make that argument in a few years, but until then I'm not seeing it. You just can't say well Jones might have his prime ahead of him, he's better. I'm actually remembering this CF named Griffey who had his last great season at the age of 30, who says that won't happen to Andruw?

Edmonds is done. Jones is still in his prime... 50/40 HR's last two years... Only 29...
Has been a better defensive CF and his career numbers are on par with Edmonds and Edmonds is 7 years older...
You're a homer. Shut up.
