I like Marshall, I think he is gonna come out with a chip on his shoulder and have a big game.

Moreno or Reggie Bush? PPR League

Fred Jackson and Marshall for sure.
Moreno isn't even a lock to play.

Bleeding Blue wrote:[Moreno or Reggie Bush? PPR League

Bush, easily.

CrookedJ wrote:Any thoughts on Mike Bell vs Detroit...Looks like PT might not play. I can play Bell or LaRon McClain, who also has a great matchup vs KC, but may not get many touches.

Bell, but it's close.

Cliff Levingston wrote:For Cliff Levingston's flex position, pick 1 (no PPR, standard 1 point per 10 yards rushing/receiving, 6 points per TD):
- RB Knowshon Moreno @ CIN
- WR Donnie Avery @ SEA
- WR Torry Holt @ Ind

I think I go Avery. That game is gonna be half a shootout, something like 41 to 27 in favor of Seattle and Rams are gonna fall behind early, so they'll be tossing the rock and Avery is the #1.
Moreno is questionable to even go.
Holt I like to have a bounce back season, but Indy is a bad matchup for recievers and quarterbacks, they only allowed a total of 6 TD's through the air all last season!

ChronicKerr wrote:Another version of my previous question: 1 PPR league

Torry Holt or Cedric Benson

I hate Benson in general, but he should be a very good play this week...

Bank Shot wrote:I've got Thomas but with him out I need a replacement for my second back.

Johnathon Stewart, Ward, or McClain?

McClain, he's going against KC, they'll run the ball all day.

Favre @ Cleveland or Pennington @ Atlanta?

Need 3
D Bowe @ Baltimore
Steve Breaston vs SF
Anthony Gonzalez vs Jac
Antonio Bryant vs Dallas

I get points for all return yards, and Breaston is projected to get over 100 yards there. I'm leaning towards NOT starting Bryant just because he's playing Dallas and a gut feeling about Gonzalez doing very well.

I'd bench Dwayne Bowe or Gonzalez I think. IDK though, Leftwich is so-so and they're going to run the ball a lot, so Bryant is so-so too.
I think Breaston is a must start this week as long as Boldin is out.
I think that's how I go. If Boldin is out, start Breaston, Gonzalez and Bowe, if Boldin is playing, bench Breaston and go with the other 3.
QB's, I go Favre without question, it's a solid matchup and I could see him getting 2 or 3 TD's including one short dump to his TE who's name I can't spell or a short red zone screen, or even a long screen to Peterson, even Taylor. Yeah, go Favre for sure.

Cutler @ Green Bay or Hasselbeck vs. St. Louis?

I get .25 a point for completions, 30 yards per point passing, 5 points per TD, -2 for interceptions, .25 per rushing attempt and 12 yards per point.
There are bonus points for hitting 300 yards(2), 350(3) and 400 yards(4).

This one is difficult for me. Hasselbeck should torch St. Louis' hideous secondary, but at the same time they will likely run the ball most of the day. Cutler is going to have big trouble with a beefed up GB defense, but will likely fall behind early and have to throw a lot, giving him a lot of yards and completions, maybe a few TD's, but likely a couple if not 3 INT's. Hmm...

Addai (Jags) or Washington (Texans)?
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

I go Washington, kid is just electric. I think he'll be the true starter soon.

Welker is questionable as far as I know, I really like Gonzalez this year too, then again Mason has a nice matchup, but the RB's should own that game.
I think I go Gonzalez on both, he's the safer play and he should see 80+ balls this year, not much of a drop off from a healthy Welker with likely more TD's and YPC...

Turner, LT and Steve Smith didn't exactly come through for me, and I had Anthony Gonzalez in instead of Ward. Carlson played very well, but I lost by 2.

Lost by .8. Heartbreaker. I had Vince Jackson and I needed 8 yards on that last drive but didn't get it. Third highest point total of the week though, so I'm looking good going forward at least. Schwab killed me. I knew he wasn't going to have a great game with the ankle and the Jets D but I just couldn't put Orton in. Running into Romo's career game didn't help me either.

Also what are people's feelings on Devrey Henderson on NO? He's on waivers right now and he had over a hundred yards and a TD last week. Is it possible that he keeps it up? A Brees WR is tempting.

not too well. lost quite big to someone who had AP. Schaub, forte, AJ, R White didnt do crap for me.

Question. for week 2 should I continue with Schaub @ Tenn or do:

Russel @ KC
Flacco@ SD
Garrard vs Ariz

I should start a week 2 start/sit.
