After trade. Who to drop?

Post#1 » by UrbanLegendMD » Thu Sep 24, 2009 2:43 pm

So, I just traded Santonio Holmes for Ray Rice. Value wiseit's probably a loss for me but my other 3 WRs are White, Fitz and Colston so Holmes is not an essential piece and I have huge hole at RB.

Now I need to drop a RB and pick up a WR. Who goes?

Leon Washington
Addai
Ahmad Bradshaw
Beanie Wells

I am leaning towards Wells since Arizona does not like to run and they got Hightower stealing touches. Bradshaw is back up, but I am not too sure about Jacobs lasting a season, so I want to hold on to him.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Would all of these guys be scooped off the waiver wire in your league .... they would in mine. Maybe make a trade to upgrade even more . . like Bradshaw and Wells to the Jacobs owner for a good back, or one of them for a WR you want. All of them are in time shares so some owners might pay a premium for the handcuff.

I agree that Wells is probably the one to drop if you are dropping.

I can pick up Eddie Royal right now. Or Mark Clayton. Jacobs owner's third back is Larry Johnson. Second starter is Sproles, so it is unlikely that I can get anything out of him. I am gonna drop Wells most likely and live with the pain of him breaking out later.

If you can get Sproles on the cheap I would go for that. LT seams to be very injury prone these days.

Sproles offer got turned down lightning quick. I decided to drop Wells. I am gonna hold on to Bradshaw as late season wild card.
