Rank my talented team (with some help)

Post#1 » by Test of Wills » Tue Sep 29, 2009 10:49 pm

So I missed my draft a few weeks back and had my team auto-picked.

QB: Jay Cutler
QB: Kyle Orton (what a coincidence with the QB's)
RB: Kevin Smith
RB: Ryan Grant
WR: Randy Moss
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
TE: Chris Cooley
K: Ryan Longwell
Bench: Mario Manningham
Bench: Leon Washington
Bench: Shaun Hill

Defense: NYJ
Bench: Dallas

I picked up Leon Washington immediately a couple of days later. I also picked up Manningham last week.

But I have a question for you guys. The Dallas defense has been disappointing to start the season and the Titans defense is on the waiver. Do you guys think I should drop Dallas for TEN??? I need a answer quickly and badly.

Thanks guys

I don't like either D. I'd be tempted to stream based on weekly matchups.

I agree, I pick up/drop defenses weekly. I didnt even draft a defense, they are very unpredictable. So far this season I have started the defense that has been playing the Rams that week and it has worked thus far.

Haha.

You'll want to keep the Jets defense for sure and lean on them cause they're THAT good. If they've got a really bad match up though, you could simply pick a D off the waiver depending on the match up.

Yeah, I missed that your starting D was the Jets and your backup was Dallas. I wouldn't carry a backup D at all. This week, I might look to the waiver wire to see if Cincy is there (playing the Browns), then drop them next week and pick up a low risk high reward RB or WR (ex: Keenan Burton might be the the #1 Rams receiver and Boller's going to be throwing a lot).
