a trade between 2 other teams...

Post#1 » by Shady Franchise » Sat Sep 4, 2010 2:16 pm

A trade was just made between 2 teams in my league (neither is mine), and I just wanted to see which side you all think got the better deal.

A. Rodgers/Fred Jackson/TJ Housh

for

Benson/Boldin/Palmer

Standard scoring. start 2 rb and 3 wr

Team A before trade: rodgers, ray rice, charles, forsett, fred jax, deshaun jackson, smith (nyg), harvin, housh, roy williams

Team B before trade: palmer, benson, steven jackson, j best, c taylor, Calvin Johnson, boldin, garcon, chambers, hester.

Pretty fair trade IMO. Team B is getting a late 1st and taking a risk on Housh for a 2nd and 3rd/4th rounder. The other two players are basically inconsequential. I'd rather be the side getting Rodgers since I'm not a believer in Benson or Boldin (both should take steps backward this year IMO), but it's not too far off.

It's an unusual trade to be sure.

I don't find it so out of whack that I'd veto it

On a side note, why anyone has Roy Williams on any fantasy football roster is beyond me, he's junk

I think Team B got the better of this trade.

The team getting Rodgers absolutely obliterated this trade. No question about it.
