Its the 2nd season in a 12 team PPR league, and each team has 1 keeper. I had the 4th pick in the draft, though most of the top guys weren't available, as they were someone's keeper. My keeper was Miles Austin, mainly because he took up my 16th pick in the draft.
1 Reggie Wayne
2 Matt Forte
3 LeSean McCoy
4 Jamaal Charles
5 Tony Gonzalez
6 Jay Cutler
7 TJ Houshmandzadeh
8 Mike Wallace
9 Ricky Williams
10 Mark Sanchez
11 Jacoby Jones
12 Justin Forsett
13 New Orleans D
14 Ryan Longwell
15 Cleveland D
16 Miles Austin (keeper)
First off, I took Reggie Wayne over Frank Gore and Randy Moss, as I wanted to have an elite WR to pair with Austin, just in case he doesn't maintain what he did last year. I feel that Wayne is more dependable week to week than Moss, and might be a smarter fit next to Austin, who can be streaky/inconsistent.
I'm sure some people think that I took my Defense and Kicker too soon, but at least there was a method to my madness. My thinking was that with the very last pick, I would use it on a deep deep sleeper, as the last pick will probably wind up being dropped eventually anyways. And 15 was technically my last pick, as Austin at 16 was my keeper. So I took my D and K a round early. The Browns D was my pick because 1) none of my sleepers were left on the board, and 2) they actually finished the year really well on D, so there's at least a small chance they turn out to be good this year. Anyways, I wasn't too worried about my last pick (15), as I am pretty deep at every position except TE, which I'll pick on up with my 17th or 18th roster spot. Might add a QB, too.
Matt Forte was a reach in most people's opinions, but I think he's going to have a good year, and I needed either a RB or an elite QB at that point. PManning, Rogers, Brees, Rivers, and Favre were gone, so I wasn't gonna reach for Tony Romo at that point. I was looking at either Ryan Matthews, Knowshon Moreno, or Matt Forte. I am comfortable with my choice, but we'll see. I feel that with Charles, McCoy, Forte, Williams, and Forsett, I have really solid depth at RB.
I also slightly regretted taking Gonzalez when I did, as part of me thinks I should have went with Witten in a PPR league. I was planning on taking Dallas Clark in the 4th round, until the guy directly ahead of me took him. Someone mentioned Gonzalez was considering retirement after I took him, but I hadn''t heard anything about that up until then. I think he's playing, as the article I found says he's considering retirement after this season. Anyways, that's my draft, and just looking for some feedback or suggestions, as I have a handful of RBs and WRs to choose from to start each week.
Projected Starting lineup looks like this:
QB Jay Cutler
RB Matt Forte
RB Jamaal Charles
RB/WR LeSean McCoy
WR Reggie Wayne
WR Miles Austin
TE Tony Gonzalez
K Ryan Longwell
D Saints

Re: Evaluate My Team
I wouldn't have passed on Gore for Wayne when you're already holding Austin
I think Forte & Forsett should have decent years
Don't know why you took a 2nd Defense
Jacoby Jones has a serious chance to breakout

Re: Evaluate My Team
Waynes numbers will probably go down this year with the emergence of Garcon and Collie and Gonzalez back from injurt. Plus he has Dallas Clark. Taking 2 D's was not smart at all. I didn't even draft a defense last year, I just picked up a defense from week to week depending on matchups and it worked great. I think Gore is going to have a big year, they drafted 2 massive o-lineman in the 1st round of the draft.

You could be right, but in a PPR league, I like having two big time WR. Besides, I don't want to have to rely on Austin to carry me, as I definitely don't consider him a sure thing. In hindsight, I probably should have taken Randy Moss, as even just last year he was a top WR. I just feel like he is one year older, and that close to losing a step. But we'll see. And Frank Gore scares me with his lack of catches and his health history, but I freely admit that that's just my gut and he most likely would have been a good pick there.
Don't know why you took a 2nd Defense
Honestly, I just flat out didn't care about the pick. I didn't see anyone out there that I wanted, even as a big time sleeper. I had to pick someone, and hey, I will need a second D when the bye week comes around. I felt the pick was basically meaningless.
Jacoby Jones has a serious chance to breakout
Hopefully you are right, but I really had my sights on Arian Foster, who was still around pretty late in the draft. I was going to pick him, but someone beat me to it.

Most of these guys you've got listed here are guys that I went into drafts thinking
"I'm gonna let someone else draft him"
I think your WR group is pretty decent
Don't like your QB situation, don't expect Favre to repeat those numbers
I'm not a big fan of your RB's.

Me, too. But I had the 11th pick in the draft, and my choices were Steven Jackson, Reggie Wayne, or Larry Fitzgerald. In a standard scoring league, I think it was a no brainer.
I chose Shonn Greene over Ryan Grant, just because I like running game in NYJ. It was a close call, and I was one the fence. I actually was planning on going WR with the 2nd pick, but I don't trust Brandon Marshall as far as I can throw him. I also figured I could get solid depth at WR late in the draft, which I think I did, as well as get a good WR or two in the 3rd/4th rounds. As it turns out, the last two guys I had my eye on, D.Jackson and M.Colston went directly before I picked. Such is life...
At any rate, I am happy with how I drafted, with the exception of Brandon Jacobs, who seems to be falling apart in NY. I didn't exactly draft the guys I really liked, but I'd like to think I made mostly the right decisions.

I chose to wait on my QB, and go for depth at RB/WR. I don't expect Favre to be a top-5 QB, but I don't think he'll be a bum either. We'll see how it works out.

Re: Evaluate My Team
I'm predicting Stephen Jackson to be a bust this season, would have gone with Reggie Wayne of the three you mentioned.
I also would have chosen Grant over Greene. I think Grant is going to be one of the safest guys to be good consistently all season.
Take a look at my thread and tell me what you see on my teams.
