Im overloaded on RBs, who should I drop?

Post#1 » by Pharmcat » Tue Oct 5, 2010 8:02 pm

2 RB spots and w/r spot which i like to use RB In

i have turner, mendenall, j stewart, j harrison, thomas jones, torain, brandon and fred jackson LOL

i need to drop 2 minimum ( to pick up a def and k), and possible 3rd to get another WR since we also have 3 WR spots

i was thinking dropping harrison, stewart, and one of the jacksons?

thoughts?

agree with your thoughts and it would be the Jackson of GB whatever his first name is. I would actually drop both Jackson and keep Stewart, only a matter of time before William gets hurt and Stewart gets all the carry to himself lol.

I would guess GB is just going to keep airing it out. They're offense looks boderline unstoppable when they just spread it out. I think they're starting to realize that Jackson kind of sucks too so at best he's still going to split with Kuhn.

If it were me, I'd drop both Jacksons and Harrison

I agree both of these backs are pretty useless.

Even though a majority of the running backs you can drop are borderline worthless, I still hope you're not dropping one to pick up a 2nd kicker. Just drop your kicker on his bye week for another one, there is never, never, ever a good time or reason to have two kickers.

Lynch was just traded, it should open up touches for Jackson.
Buffalo is still wretched though so my expectations are slim, especially in an essential time share with C.J. Spiller, but he's worth holding onto right now just in case.

Edit: Honestly I would drop Jerome Harrison or Brandon Jackson out of that group.

Brandon Jackson and Harrison. The Browns have Shafted Jerome and Brandon just isn't any better than John Kuhn is.

Drop Brandon Jackson and Jerome Harrison.

I'd hang onto Fred jackson, he's been told he'll be getting 15 touches a game starting this weekend

Agree with everyone else. Drop Harrison and Brandon Jackson. Don't drop any of the others for a WR -- use the fact that you've cornered a scarce position and trade for one. In particular, I'd try to move Thomas Jones to the Charles owner for a #2 WR. I don't trust his production to remain static all year. You can sell the owner on the fact that he's trading for a guy who's already past his bye week.

Are you suggesting that I should have dropped a player that I don't have?
