Definitely looked good! I'll wait to say I told you so when everyone starts him as their "must start" and Belichek gives him 4 carries.

Yup, and almost certainly lost his shot at sharing heavy minutes in the process.
So did everyone do week 1?
Pretty well. Newton had an off game, Murray didn't get a touchdown, I got 1 point from my flex (don't ask why I started Benson) and 5 from cruz, but I'm still up 30 going into tonight (he has the Bengals DST, I'm done).
Right now I"m highest scoring team thanks to beast tandum of M. Ryan/JJones. Lil disappointed in my #1 rb McCoy, hoping Phi cleans up their crap next week, they looked HORRIBLE against the Browns.
Don't worry about the Eagles. In fact, buy low on an Eagle you can (if the Vick owner in your league is reactionary and doesn't see him as a top 10 QB anymore, then grab him). Cleveland's defense is good. Like, actually good. To make things worse, the Eagles were undisciplined on offense and commited a ton of penalties. McCoy lost at LEAST 60 yards on plays being called back (and I believe that count was as of the 2nd or 3rd quarter).

In my three money leagues, I'm at least going to be 2-0. One of those games I'm lucky to get a win, the other my team rolled em.
The final match-up comes down to the Raiders vs Chargers game. I have a 14.5 lead and have DHB going, my opponent has DMC. This is my wacky scoring league (of note, it's a PPR and .25 points per rush attempt). I'm cautiously optimistic, but DMC scares me and I know what he is capable of. Ironically this match-up is probably going to be featuring the top two scoring teams in the league, so someone is going to feel pretty bad after the loss.

Re: Week 1 starter
I'm going to win the one league I care about by a lot(40 point lead and the other team is already done, and I still have Torrey Smith/Antonio Gates going).
I lost Fred Jackson, but luckily my Matt Ryan/Julio Jones combo kicked enough ass to carry me to the win anyways.

^^^same here, have the Ryan/Jones tandem as well was going up against a Stafford/Megatron tandem, luckily Stl shut them down most of the game. Biggest regret this early season is dropping A. Morris, he's still on WW but I dont think I'll have high enough priority to get him back. But its Was RB after all and I "thought" had the most talented of the 3 in Helu, guess not

The guy I'm facing also has the Stafford/Megatron combo of doom. Good thing they decided to have an off week this week!

Re: Week 1 starter
My first fantasy game went great...everyone I got was in double fantasy points besides S. Jackson (with no TD). I regret subbing out Adrian Peterson but Kevin Smith was great also. I shouldve started AP and KS instead of Reggie, I shouldve known the Texans will limit Dolphins.

its only been 1 week and its Tenn after all, not gona expect that type of performance week in and week out but hoping he can be a solid flex opt. for me.
I disagree.
New England has a cupcake schedule, you should expect this kind of usage most weeks.
Well, not exactly this usage, but I'd say around 17 carries and 2 to 3 receptions a week.
I called his numbers for his week specifically to a T though.
He's going to be a top 10 RB, at least in non-PPR and I think even in PPR.
Around 270 carries and 30 something receptions with double digit TD's and a good YPC average.
He's at worst going to be a top RB2. He has a chance to be a top 5 fantasy RB this year.
If you can still get him through trade without giving up a ton cause of the nonsense fears of the New England myth I say do it immediately, but I think most people will be trying to sell high now if they're willing to deal him.
Wait for him to have a bad week and pounce.
So did everyone do week 1?
Overall pretty damn good, although I lost in my second favorite for fun league that I've been in for 6 years now and I lost by 2 points and change in my most important money league to the highest scoring team in the league...
Right now I"m highest scoring team thanks to beast tandum of M. Ryan/JJones.
I have this combo in a few leagues, not my damn money leagues though, where I have Ryan but lost out on Jones.
They're going to be scary good this year.
I had predicted Ryan for 4700+ and 37+ TD's and I'm quite confident in that.
Have Jones leading the league in receiving and double digit TD's should be a breeze. This guy might hit the 20's this year.
Loving it.
Lil disappointed in my #1 rb McCoy, hoping Phi cleans up their crap next week, they looked HORRIBLE against the Browns.
Although I understand how you're disappointed cause of no TD's and no catches, he still got 110 yards on what, 22 carries?
McCoy is a beast. 2nd best RB in the league IRL. I wouldn't be worried.
I figured his TD's would regress a touch, but his yardage may very well go way up.
