Fantasy Trade Question

Post#1 » by MilTownBucks » Thu Sep 27, 2012 3:08 pm

12 team league, my team is as follows..

Eli Manning/Sam Bradford
Arian Foster/Shonn Greene/Isaac Redman/Mark Ingram (just picked up and dropped Tolbert who was my last pick in the draft)
Andre Johnson/Stevie Johnson/Danny Amendola/Kenny Britt/Anquan Boldin
Antonio Gates/Heath Miller
Alex Henery
Bears D/Patriots D

I am looking for another Running Back (if you couldnt tell already) and want to get rid of one of my recievers. I was offered Ryan Williams for either Amendola or Kenny Britt. I personally dont want to gamble on Williams. The guy also has Steven Jackson, Trent Richardson, and Frank Gore. I said I would take any of those 3.

Since I am 3-0 I am 11/12 for waiver claims...tried picking up Leshore and Choice.

Any advice?

T Rich is the guy out of those that you want, but Williams for either of those receivers is great for you as well if he won't budge.

Is this PPR? If not don't be so greedy. You have a bunch of solid receivers and hot garbage for RB's outside Foster. Williams is going to be the feature back on a team with a suspect QB but possession dominating defense. Williams is a high upside guy for sure. Will get a lot of touches and his O-line is solid. The only risk is he's small and looks like a guy that gets whacked a lot so he's an injury risk.

They wanted this guy to eventually takeover for Wells even if Wells was healthy. As long as he does his thing these next 6 to 8 weeks, Wells will be no risk to do anything but come in and steal the 8 to 12 touches the committee behind Williams is getting anyway and maybe he'll vulture a TD once in a blue, but Williams will still remain a 20 touch + feature back as long as he's healthy and isn't a bucket of suck, or a fumbling machine.

I wouldn't even worry about him in pass protection cause they don't use their TE's to catch much so they'll pick up most of his slack in that department.

Britt unleashes some fantastic damage when he's fully healthy, but that's rare. With the rest of your WR's, if this is PPR I wouldn't sweat giving him up.

If this isn't PPR Amendola is easy to let go of as well and I'd probably hold Britt in that case because neither is going to be an every week starter for you so I'll keep the guy with the huge upside over the consistent production.
