Diamondbacks @ Cardinals Series Thread

Post#1 » by bigboy1234 » Mon Jul 2, 2007 11:15 pm

Monday: Brandon Webb vs. Braden Looper

Tuesday: Randy Johnson vs. Todd Wellemeyer

Wednesday: Livan Hernandez vs. Brad Thompson

Thursday: Doug Davis vs. Adam Wainwright

Thoughts: The first 2 games in this series the D'Backs have a huge pitching advantage. The last 2 games I think the Cards have a slight pitching advantage although very close.

Nice to see the Cards take down one of the best pitchers in the game tonight. Hopefully we can do the same tomorrow against Randy, who has been pretty dominant when pitching this year.

Eh, we're quickly going back to reality. (struggling to stay above .500)

Looks like we won't be seeing Randy Johnson tonight. Hello Yusmeiro Petit instead.

Wellemeyer getting knocked around early, of course those errors in the first didn't help, but the HR ball is killing him.

Very nice comeback last night, granted I didn't get to watch it because I went downtown for all them fireworks.

I watched the whole game before heading out to the awesome spectacle that is the Columbia fireworks show. One of the advantages of living in a smaller town.

That was a really good win last night. It's wins like that that keep me from completely giving up on this season.

If only we could get consistently good starting pitching, maybe the rest of the team has come around enough for us to make a run at winning the Central Division. :dontknow:

Adam W. gets his seventh win and evens up his record. One of the better wins of the season giving us three out of four wins over the DBacks. Damn I like it when we win.

Can somebody tell me why TLR decided to go with Flores in the 8th instead of Springer right away? Did I missing something?

I get nervous enough with Flores against lefties. I about fell off my couch when he came in and saw he had to face 2 right handed batters. IMO springer doesn't give up those 2 runs. I just wanted to see Waino go unscathed in this game.
"didnt you watch the game with the raptors?bucks is also a playoff team ,they have enough ability to find wins from dalas and utach,
blow jazzs bitches and mavericks bitches out !"
