Re: Week 4 Starters Advice
Would you start...
Brandon Marshall @ Dallas
or
Steve Johnson vs. NE
I'm only doubting Marshall this week because he's going against the toughest pass D in Dallas, and I don't fully trust Cutler and that Oline of theirs against Dallas. But there's always a chance Marshall just goes batcrazy...just not sure if this Dallas team will be the one he will break out against.
Steve Johnson is playing at home and against a favorable match-up against NE, even if Bills are losing they'll keep tossing to catch up and their best RBs are injured.

Re: Week 4 Starters Advice
PPR, 2 RB, 2 WR, flex format. Who should I go with for my #2 RB and flex.
1 RB:
Ridley @ Buff
Chris Johnson @ HOU
B-V Green Ellis @ Jax
1 flex:
Bowe VS Chargers
Steve Johnson VS. NE
- or one of the RB's listed above.
I'm leaning towards Green-Ellis as my #2 and Steve Johnson as my flex.

Probably going 3 RBs and 2 WRs. Murray's got a tough matchup (Bears), Sproles is solid but unlikely to have a huge game against GB, Benson has a great matchup but who knows if they keep trying to establish the run, and we've only seen Leshoure and Williams do it once a piece. I like Cruz and Maclin over Decker, I think, but I am a bit worried about Maclin's knee.
Benson/Leshoure
Cruz/Maclin
Flex Sproles if PPR if not I'd take a chance on R. Williams
in this situation would you start sproles or Fitzgerald at flex?

You got the right idea, can't trust cj right now

I'd only do the second. You'll have four capable WRs and Moss. You'll only have two RBs but I don't think Ridley is worth it to you.

Moore. MIA isn't kind to running and I'm not going to trust Barden yet.

Thanks. Yeah after Torrey's great play yesterday, as well as last week, I'd rather keep him over getting Ridley.
Do not max Vuc!

TDs only...
RB 2 pick one: Benson, F. Jackson, B. Tate, Matthews.
I like Tate this week against Ten for some reason, but can't decide if I should go for a starter instead. TDs only is tough.

Rivers, but I'm not as down on Romo as many probably are versus this defense.

I'm leaning towards Andre Brown, Welker and Decker. Thoughts?
I'll go Brown here for your RB.
Decker and Smith would have been my choices, I swear haha.
Seriously though, I started Smith in 2 leagues I have him in over big names and I'm not even a huge fan of his fantasy wise from week to week, I just loved the matchup and he is talented and Flacco is wildy improved and finally has been given the green light to chuck with reckless abandon.

LeShoure
Cruz
Maclin

I don't normally advocate sitting one of your studs with a guaranteed workload, but I'm sitting Murray here.
He gets Baltimore and a bye in the next 2 weeks, but after that he has a great schedule for a long time and should blow up.
Maybe I would sit LeShoure though with the groin injury.
Anyway, Benson and the receivers are who I go, then flip a coin with LeShoure and Murray.
Definitely sitting Sproles.
Williams is actually a solid option this week though, Miami is bound to be eaten alive by that defense, so Williams may get a lot of work by clock killing default, so even though they are bad against the run the sheer volume may get him solid points.

Is it too late to answer this?
I'd go with the Torrey Smith/Brown side of that deal.
I still like Ridley a lot, but that is going to be Brown's job soon and Smith is insanely better and more valuable in re-trade to Moss.
Second one, Mega, please do that trade.
Harvin is growing on me and although I don't hate Welker, you know my stance on him and he's no longer guaranteed to be the consistency monster he once was, especially once Hernandez comes back in a couple weeks.

Hmm... I'm going Johnson here. The chances he scores in another consecutive week isn't great simply by just odds, but I think he has to.
He's been so consistent and I can see this being a big yardage day for him as well, maybe going for 2 scores even.
But my bet is 8 receptions for about 110 and a TD.

I'll go BGE here, he's almost a lock for 80 total yards and a touch and has the chance to go ham.
Flex I don't think you can go wrong here with Bowe or Johnson, but I'm going to go Stevie.
I can see putting Ridley in there instead as well.
Either your league is small or you are starting the wrong people in the slots you're not asking us about.
BGE, Ridley, Bowe and Stevie are all pretty much must starts this week.

Brandon Lloyd, close second to Lance, distant third for Moore. None are actually bad plays though.

Benson, followed by Tate. Mathews 3rd.
Jackson a super distant 4th.
Tate is a fine play this week, they should steamroll Tennessee for the most part, can see Foster and Tate going over a hundred, both should score TD's.
This is going to be a high scoring week throughout the NFL as an in general methinks.
