10 team keeper league, standard scoring with QBs getting 6 points per TD pass. Cliff Levingston's keepers were Spiller and Martin, so that's a nice start.

QB: Russell Wilson (9)
WR: Brandon Marshall (3), Antonio Brown (5)
RB: Doug Martin (K), C.J. Spiller (K)
TE: Greg Olsen (11)
Flex: David Wilson (4)
K: Justin Tucker (15)
DEF: Cincinnati (14)

Bench:
QB Tony Romo (10)
RB Gioviani Bernard (6)
RB Danny Woodhead (12)
RB Joique Bell (13)
WR DeSean Jackson (7)
WR T.Y. Hilton (8)
DEF Indianapolis (16, for week 1 against the Raiders)

Uhm, that team is stacked.

Antonio Brown is your only weak(ish) starter along with maybe Olsen, but he's probably the best tier 2 TE right now.

My only complaint is probably Joique Bell being owned, especially in a standard league and not PPR. Not sure whose available in your league, but I'd probably take a chance on a high upside guy then someone like Bell who would more then likely only provide value should Bush get injured.

Wouldn't call him weak-ish, just (hopefully) a solid WR2. Can't get super studs everywhere. Cliff Levingston is just looking for him to be a consistent, solid performer via a lot of targets and thus yards.

People in this league roster a **** ton of backs. Bell would be an awfully nice flex play at least if Reggie Bush goes down. Other options out there are in similar position: Kendall Hunter, Toby Gerhart, Michael Bush, Lance Dunbar, Ryan Williams, Daniel Thomas, Jonathan Franklin. Outside of those, you're looking at Zac Stacy, LaMichael James, Robert Turbin, Marcel Reese, Felix Jones, Rashad Jennings. Cliff Levingston doesn't see any of those guys being better holds than Bell.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Sorry if there is any confusion. If there's a weak link (relative to your other starters) it's Antonio Brown. Was mostly just a testament to how stacked i thought your other starters were.

Fair enough in regards to Bell. Can't say I see anything super exciting available.

Yea, thought-so. The strategy to wait on QB and TE worked out well. Cliff Levingston wanted Luck but he was the second to last QB taken. Cliff Levingston figured his RB and WR position were nicely stacked up with talent, so take Wilson and Romo, the two best QBs left and play match ups or wait til one separated himself from the other. By then, most people started looking at TE if they didn't already have one, so Cliff Levingston snatched up Olsen, who should be well within the top 10 TEs and hopefully be a solid contributor week to week.

Thanks.

First time fantasy player. Standard 10 team - Drafted 9th:

QB - Romo (9)
RB1 - CJ Spiller (1)
RB2 - LeSean McCoy (2)
WR1 - Larry Fitzgerald (3)
WR2 - Vincent Jackson (5)
FLEX - Lamar Miller (4)
TE - Gronkowski (6)
DEF - Pitt (16)
K - Kai Forbath (15)

Bench:
QB - Flacco (14)
RB - Shonn Greene (12)
RB - Danny Woodhead (13)
TE - Greg Olsen (10)
WR - Cecil Shorts (7)
WR - Mike Williams (8)
WR - Michael Floyd (11)

I like my starters - getting both Spiller and McCoy was a coup I thought. QBs went very early. I think it's a decent team particularly when Gronkowski is healthy. I lack any depth at RB.

Thoughts?

Im guessing you had a late pick? And you went Foster, Dez, Fitz/ Bush? Looks good. I wanted Dez Fitz aand Bush.. in my league Bush went late 2nd round.

other than that.. I might start romo over stafford just because he puts up better numbers?

7/10 for your team

Your starters are really nice, but you should've looked for a backup RB earlier. You're going to be hurting big time if Spiller or Martin go on bye or get hurt.

Just out of curiosity, 1st time playing Fantasy, lifelong football fan:
Had to do a few waiver moves to get a non-injured TE and a backup that didn't have the same bye as my starting QB, but currently:

QB: Luck, Tannehill
RB: AP (first time, first pick!), Stephen Jackson
WR: Brandon Marshall, Dwayne Bowe
TE: Gronk, Coby Fleener
Flex/Bench: Eddie Lacy/Isaac Redmann, Laveon Bell, Chris Ivory, Vincent Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, Sidney Rice
K: Matt Bryant
Def/ST: Denver

Thought I did OK for a first try, wouldn't mind a better QB, but I'll take it with AP. Don't really know what to think about WRs, and just hoping Gronk is OK and back soon. Any other thoughts?

10 team league, 6 points for passing TDs, other than that some minor defensive scoring changes.

im guessing you went AP, Jackson, Marshall , Bowe / luck?

Good team.. but you im not sold on Stephen Jax this year tho. Bowe will have a good year since he is 1/2 option for Alex Smith, Sanders gonna have a good year this year... Bell is a sleeper.. should of picked up Sudfeld maybe?

Luck and tannehill will have good seasons for ppr leagues. Tannehill especially with Mike Wallace and Lamar.

Did you miss that David Wilson is Cliff Levingston's flex? Cliff Levingston could've drafted him in the 3rd round but then would've lost out on a top WR.

Giovani Bernard will take over the majority of the carries in Cincinnati before long. Ben-Jarvus Green-Ellis pretty much sucks.

That's a really nice team. You probably took Luck too early. In a 10 team league, unless someone drafts their backup far too early, you could've waited til the 8th or 9th and still got a QB of comparable quality to the ones taken in the 5th. After Brees, Rodgers, Manning, Brady and Newton, you've got a bevy of high upside guys in RG3, Wilson, Kapernick, Luck, Romo and Stafford. Can't go too wrong with any of those guys.

Don't be surprised if you're disappointed with Dwayne Bowe. Michael Crabtree was a severe underachiever until Kaepernick took over. So this idea that Alex Smith is going to boost Bowe's value is unfounded, ICLO. Your WR backups aren't too strong either unless Sanders manages to overtake Antonio Brown in the Pittsburgh passing game. The good thing is that you're really strong at RB with Lacy as your flex and Le'Veon Bell probably picking up strong flex value as early as week 3.

You probably don't need to roster Tannehill. He doesn't have that big of upside and you could probably pluck comparable QBs off the waiver wire at any time. If Jay Cutler is available, he'd be a better option, for example. Maybe use that roster spot to stream a defense since Denver is going to struggle mightily to rush the passer until Miller comes back.

Otherwise, really nice team, especially for a first time fantasy footballer.

Thanks Cliff! Actually, I had to have it set up for autodraft, but I did quite a bit of movement for the settings to get it to work out. If I could have been there, I may have waited on the QB, but luck was my highest rated player available and I was set at RB/WR already. I just picked up Pettigrew (the Lions TE) off waivers to replace Fleener, so a slight upgrade there too. I'm not sure why I never did fantasy before now that I started!

I like this team quite a lot.

For a 16 team league you have some nasty RB's. Rice is a PPR monster and I expect SJax to be a huge player for PPR in that Falcons offense. I'm not the biggest fan of Ryan Mathews, but as your 3rd RB in a 16 team league that is pretty great.

WR is rather solid too. I expect to see a big bounce back season from Fitzgerald. I think Hilton and Givens are solid WR but complete risks as your WR#2. Givens is someone that I'm more high on then others, but you can't ignore the risk due to his reliance on the "big play". I'm not as high on Hilton as others are just because I think DHB could take away some of his opportunities but I still think he'll be productive. Vincent Brown is a good risk and might end up being San Diego's best WR, which is worth something I guess.

I'm not as big of a fan of Dwayne Allen, but I guess his upside is similar to the 10 or so TE's in the 7-17 range in most rankings.

QB is obviously your riskiest position, but I like the two players you nabbed. Vick as we all know has crazy upside so that's a move that could pay off for you, whereas Alex Smith is nothing sexy but should get you the 14-18 points on a consistent basis.

Out of curiosity, what pick did you have in your draft? Hard to believe you snagged both Steven Jackson and Ray Rice in a 16 team league.

I had the 5th overall pick..Lots of QB picks in the first 2 rounds is probably why SJax fell to me in the 2nd round.

Hello everyone, I would appreciate it if you can help me rate my team. 10 teams, PPR league, 1 flex.

QB - Tom Brady
RB - Doug Martin
RB - Matt Forte
WR - Pierre Garcon
WR - Jordy Nelson
TE - Rob Gronkowski
Flex - Steven Jackson
D - SF 49ers
K - Phil Dawson

Bench
Michael Vick
T.Y. Hilton
Josh Gordon
Zach Sudfeld
Rueben Randle
Knowshon Moreno
Colts D

Obviously, my WRs are really weak, but with 3 every week starters at RB, i feel confident they can carry a lot of the load. Also took a gamble on Gronk, but it seems to be working out as hes recovering quickly and I also have Sudfeld. I know holding 2 defenses is a bad move, but I picked up the Colts D this week as they are playing the Raiders and will probably let them go after week 2. Thoughts/ suggestions? Thanks!

Solid team, only thing is that you took Vick too early. Should have used that pick to grab a better bench RB
