someone is offering me:

LJ/Eagles DST/Mark Clayton for my Bensen/Bears DST/Braylon edwards

should I take the trade?

I'd try and get something else from him. But I'd be real close to do this deal. While LJ is a great back, he's going to have trouble if the Chiefs can't find a way to throw the ball.

Hey guys.

I'm doing horrible in one of my leagues, due to Reggie Bush and Maurice Jones Drew sucking.

Should I trade Bush and Darrel Jackson for Adrian Peterson?

While I really like Peterson, he's going to hit a rookie wall at some point. I'd wait it out on Bush and Jones-Drew to get going.

I can pick up Stokley off waivers if that makes a difference.

I do like Stokley if he can stay healthy. Still I think Jones-Drew ends up breaking out soon enough.

I think he meant he trade Jone Drew and Jackson for Peterson. Or atleast I'm hoping that's the case.

Do you guys have receptions are a point? Otherwise I would make that trade.

Yea. What you are trading for isn't all that valuable. Even though the Cheifs blow, Johnson will get his carries.

Please help, Romo and Benson for Fitzgerald

Post#72 » by Skooby » Sat Sep 22, 2007 11:59 am

I have Fitzgerald. He's offering Romo and Benson. I missed the draft and my squad sucks. But if I give up Fitzgerald I have no WRs. However, JonesDrew has been terrible.

Should I accept the trade or make a counter?

Here's my squad:

QB- V. Young, Pennington

RB- Gore, Jones-Drew, Tatem Bell, Ron Dayne

WR- Lee Evans, Fitzgerald, Mark Clayton, Joe Horn, A. Gonzales,

TE- Shocket, Zach Miller

His squad:

QB- Peyton Manning, Romo

RB- Benson, Adrian Peterson, Derrick Ward, Jamal Lewis, DeShawn Wynn,

WR- Javon Walker, Holt, Chambers, Randle El, James Jones, Drew Bennett, Jacoby Jones, and Jason Avant.

TE- Kellen Winslow

My wife has been offered Joseph Addai and Titans D for Jason Witten, Pats D and Adrian Peterson.

Her team:
QB--Brady and Leinart
RB--Peterson, Rudi Johnson, Maroney, T. Jones
WR--Randy Moss, TJ Housh, Branch, McDonald
TE--Witten
K-Hanson
DEF--Pats and Vikings

She would pick take a huge hit at TE, where the top FAs are Jeff King and Robert Royal. And the reliability of defense points takes a blow. Should she accept?

Decline that one, easy.

Adrian Peterson is doing better then Addai, Pats D is going to be consistent all season, and Witten has been a beast.

Man, that MJD and Darrell Jackson for Adrian Peterson worked out well for me so far.

Too bad Bulger had -3 or I might have won.

No way. She's giving up way too much.

The drop off that she's going to get from Jason Witten to one of the FA TEs is way more significant than the drop off from Addai to Peterson.

And this is before accounting for the drop off from the Pats D to the Titans D.

--Braylon Edwards and LJ Smith for his Jason Witten and Mark Clayton?

--Ben watson for galloway

--Witten/jacoby jones for galloway/santonio holmes

Which trade is best? My WRs are: housh, galloway, edwards, reggie brown, greg jennings, holmes. My TEs are: Eric Johnson, LJ Smith

I would do Galloway for Watson, or the Galloway/Holmes for Witten and Jones.

I ended up just doing witten for edwards straight up because I dont have a TE for week 4 (LJ injured, Johnson Bye) and with vernon davis and winslow hurt and bye weeks starting i figured there would be a rush for him. I picked up roddy white off waivers so here is what my team looks like now. Thanks for the advice though (he wouldnt do watson for galloway, and i didnt want to give up holmes+galloway for witten and an injured jacoby jones).

Palmer
campbell
(start 1)

alexander
bensen
kevin jones
lewis
(start 2)

TJ Housh
galloway
jennings
holmes
reggie brown
roddy white
(start 3)

Witten
LJ smith
(start 1)

akers

Bears DST

im 2-1 in a 10 team league playing the 1st place 3-0 team in my league who has bush and colston out on byes so I'm hoping for a W this week.
