I have the 2nd pick in the draft...
Do I go with a QB or a RB? It is an 8 team league & I was thinking to go AP or MJD with the 2nd pick then cross my fingers for Aaron Rodgers being there in the 2nd round. Does that make sense?

Yea you have to take a RB if youre in the top 2.. And its CJ 1 and AP 2 so go with AP

Yeah, I've been talking with the guy who picks #1 & he's leaning towards CJ. If he somehow takes AP then I'm taking CJ without question.

i'm just worried about AP's fumbles. His workload will increase this season & most likely so will his fumbles...

If you're in a PPR Ray Rice is a legitimate option with the 2nd overall IMO.

Aaron Rogers probably will be gone by your next pick, especially if QB's get 6 points per TD...if your league gets 6 pts for a throwing TD I say definitely go QB round 2...they are 6-7 elite QB's, make sure u get one

Definitely get Peterson or Johnson with that 2nd pick. In an 8 team league, Manning or Brady should still be available when you draft in the 2nd round.

In an 8 team league, I think there's even more reason to wait on a QB

I missed the 8 team league part, I agree. Every team will have a solid QB unless someone starts drafting them all for trade bait

Okay, just finished my draft. Thoughts?
QB: Matt Schaub & Joe Flacco
RB: Adrian Peterson, Jamaal Charles, Michael Bush & Jahvid Best
WR: Brandon Marshall, Greg Jennings, Hines Ward, Derrick Mason, Hakeem Nicks & Lee Evans
TE: Antonio Gates & Zach Miller
Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski
Defense: Green Bay Packers
1 point for every 10 yards receiving/rushing, 6 for every touchdown.

Re: I have the 2nd pick in the draft...
What's your starting roster look like?
8 teams is such a weak league that everybody probably looks strong.
I would have got another RB rather than picking up Z. Miller
After Peterson, you don't have any "slam dunk" RB's in my mind. They're all good, but they all have big question marks too.
I'm not a B. Marshall fan, but I know alot of people like him.

Bengals or Packers D? Someone just dropped the Bengals to pick up the Chargers & I'm thinking I might want the Bengals.

Re: I have the 2nd pick in the draft...
I don't know...
Your team looks like the kind of team I build in a 10 team league, if not 12 with the exception of maybe Flacco for Schaub or Pierre Thomas or Arian Foster in place of ADP.
I mean it's solid, I just expected a little more in an 8 team league.
Maybe I'm trippin'?
