rate my team please

Post#1 » by martinm » Tue Sep 7, 2010 7:44 pm

Starters:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
QB: Peyton Manning
RB: Steven Jackson
RB: Jamaal Charles
WR: Marques Colston
WR: Steve Smith NYG
TE: Brent Celek
TE: Chris Cooley
Flex: Pierre Thomas
K: Mason Crosby
D: Philly

Bench:
Big Ben
Johnny Knox
Jacoby Jones
Mike Wallace

Scoring:
Passing Touchdowns 6
Interceptions -2
Sacks -1
Rushing Touchdowns 6
Reception Touchdowns 6
Return Yards 50 yards per point; 5 points at 100 yards; 10 points at 150 yards; 15 points at 200 yards
Return Touchdowns 6
2-Point Conversions 2
Fumbles Lost -2

I want to trade Big Ben as soon as he starts playing again to get a good player to fill in any weaknesses that show up once the season starts.

I wouldn't wait to move Ben.
The only time you're going to sit either Manning or Rodgers is on their bye weeks or if they get hurt.
You have no RB depth to speak of.

By getting 2 stud QB's you've left the rest of your team relatively weak.

If it were me, the deal I'd be looking to do is package Big Ben with one or two of your other guys and see if you can upgrade at both RB and/or WR, for a league that shallow, you don't have alot of sure things other than QB.

In fact, you may want to consider trading one of Manning or Rodgers in order to get some upgrades elsewhere, and then right it out with the best available free agent QB until Big Ben comes back.
Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed.

I would move Rodgers, his stock wont get any higher than it is now and Manning is gonna have a really big year. Keep Ben as your backup. Plus Manning never gets hurt so you are safe there. I think it is foolish to have 2 complete studs at a position where u can only start one.

Another theory is hold on to them both till someones starting QB goes down then make the trade and potentially get more out of him. I would go with the first though.
