Jason Witten vs. CHI or Chris Cooley vs. Houston

PPR league, pick my RB, RB, and RB/WR

RBs Jamaal Charles (Cle), LeSean McCoy (Det), Matt Forte (Dal), Ricky Williams (Min)
WRs Mike Wallace (Ten), Jacoby Jones (Was)

As of now, I'm leaning towards Charles, McCoy, and Forte. However, Williams got 18 carries last week! Also, espn has projected Jacoby Jones to go for 19 points for some reason, though I can't envision starting him over one of my RBs.

Charles is a must play, going up against Cleveland next week. McCoy has a nice matchup this week, too, though I think his PPR value takes a hit with Vick playing under center. Forte almost certainly won't come close to matching his production from last week, though I still expect him to catch a few passes every game. Most weeks I'm going to have a hard time deciding between McCoy and Williams for my flex spot I believe.

Who should I start at QB:

Kolb @ Det (if he's able to play)
Henne @ Min
Anderson @ ATL

I'm leaning towards Anderson, since he did well against STL.

I tried to pick up Michael Vick off of Waivers, but someone else picked him up. I'm not looking strong at the QB position. Fortunately, I have a good RB and WR core (J Charles, R Rice, Ricky Williams, Austin Miles, Hines Ward, and Wes Welker in a PPR league).

I'd do Charles, Mccoy and Forte too, but if you're questioning Vick's role, then start Williams. I'd still stick with Forte though because the Vikings are a nasty DST

Wow. For the fact you have a lot of solid options for the season, all these guys have pretty crappy matchups for his week...

I'm going Aromashodu out of that group though.

Don't over think this. Charles, McCoy and Forte without question.

Kolb is almost definitely out.
You're in for a world of hurt between the other two.
Anderson is a solid option over the course of the season against good matchups, or even decent ones where he will be forced to throw a little more, but this is a bad one.
There have to be better options on the waiver wire.
If not, I'm going Anderson. He has a chance at a lot of yard and one or two TD's, but don't be surprised if he throws three, or even four picks.

Any of these guys available?
Matt Hasselbeck
Kyle Orton
David Garrard
Sam Bradford

All are MUCH better options this week and Henne and Anderson aren't better season long options than any of those 4 anyway.

snapcracklepape wrote:Cutler vs Dallas or Vick vs Detroit

This one is interesting. I hate Cutler and he is going to have to toss the pill like crazy to fight from behind, but it's against a pretty aggressive defense. He'll throw a ton of picks in all likelihood, but he's probably good for 300 yards+ and a couple TD's. Maybe not though.

Pretty sure I'm giving Cutler way too much credit though. I'll favor the matchup and the fact Vick looked like he hopped out of a time machine headed from 2006.

Hide your beagles, Vick's an Eagle!

Make sure Kolb isn't starting, because that obviously makes your decision for you.

Clayton all day.

PPR?
I don't think I can go against DeSean Jackson against the Lions no matter who's throwing the ball to him and even though Vick is more dangerous on the ground, his throws looked crispier then I have ever see, a lot of tight, hard spirals. Kind of favored Maclin, but he legitimately tried to get the ball to DeSean.

Have to go with DeSean.

Out of the other two?
I'm sitting Marshall I think. I know that may seem a little crazy, but yeah, I'm starting Mike Williams against what looked like a bad secondary in Carolina. They were especially terrible in the red zone as well and this is where the young Williams could really shine this week and all season.

thx....same mindset as you in terms of Jackson and Williams, Williams more so cause he is a big target in the redzone, Marshall couldn't get a TD against Bills and Minn only allowed 1 passing TD against NOH which is quite impressive, I see Minn sacking and pressureing Henne all day and wont allow him much time to throw it accurately.

I wouldn't start Floyd or Naanee until AFTER this week. Who knows who will be Rivers favorite target this time around? Do Mike Williams from TB.

Rivers favorite target has been and will be Gates.

None of the other receivers on San Diego are reliable options IMO.

This is why personally I wasn't high on Floyd like others unless he was a backup or at worst a WR3.

Floyd has been in the league a # of years and has never done much of anything.

Sure there are some hidden gems here and there in the NFL sometimes, but chances are if he was that good, he would have gotten an opportunity already at some point.

Sure someone has to catch the ball in Chargers-land, but Gates is that dude, Mathews may be very good and I think they will be similar to older Eagles teams when McNabb had no true #1 receiver and just spread the love around with no idea of who would benefit the most individually.

Should have specified that it was Seattle Mike Williams.
