D. Thomas (WR, Den)....I'm sure not many people have him on their team yet, this guy is a big target for Orton like Marshall was, if lucky maybe Mike Williams of Tampa? No one had him in my league, picked him up week 1.

May be too late to get him, but Clayton on STL is a must pick up WR. The FB Tolbert for the Chargers may be a good pickup with Mathews hurt/struggling....16 carries/82 rush yards/ 2TDs. Not too shabby.

I'm streaming D this season in one of my league and I was wondering which match-ups everyone is liking this week. Personally I like Washington against STL. I'm a little worried because Schaub took a huge dump on them last week but it is STL. Any other ideas?

On a side note, I blew my D call last week and it nearly cost me the W. I used Carolina who got me a whopping 1 point and went up against Pitt who gave my opponent 28. Luckily Crabtree shat the bed (again) and I pulled off a .62 win. Couldn't have done it without those Panthers.

I did the exact same thing, though in our league Carolina gave me 0 points. I thought playing at home against Tampa was a surefire double digit day. Guess I didn't realise just how bad the Panthers blow.

I'm going with Cinci vs Carolina and NE vs Buffalo as my defenses this week. My luck has been pretty terrible so far this year though so I wouldn't be shocked if they both get lit up.

In the league I did with my friends somebody dropped Malcom Floyd and Sims Walker plus Clayton was still a FA. My 2nd and 3rd receivers were a combination of Knox/Garcon/Jacoby Jones. I quickly picked them up.

I dropped Gafney and Jones and picked those 3 up.

picked up Collie, Jags managed to allow 2 20pt+ to Maclin/Jackson can't see why Collie can replicate that, hopefully Gonzalez/Garcon are still out but Collie looks like Manning fav. target now with all the attention going to Wayne defensively.

Great pick up Collie at the moment is the top scoring receiver in fantasy football. Should have a good week the Jags secondary sucks.

Pick up Mike Williams depending on who you're dropping.

If you're needing a QB like I do, Ryan Fitzpatrick. With Vick getting hurt today and my other QB being Brett Favre (blame auto-draft), looks like I may have to pick up someone else.

you should look to Kyle Orton if by some miracle hes not already taken. If Orton was scooped id say Bruce Gradkowski or Shaun Hill before I'd consider Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Shaun Hill, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bruce Gradkowski, Kevin Kolb, Jimmy Clausen, Seneca Wallace, Alex Smith, Max Hall, Josh Freeman, Matt Cassel

That's what I have available. It's a deep league (12 teams) but I'm currently 4-0 (after this week) and will be in 1st. I don't need someone incredible but I'm looking for a safe option. I might give Favre another chance but if he played poorly against the Lions, I would say that he'll play poorly against the Jets. Considering Hill but how long Stafford is going to be out would play a big role in me deciding to use one of my limited moves to pick him up.

Probably going to start Favre next week if Vick is a definite out and see if the bye is what he needed to get into form. If the report is correct about Vick going to be out for several weeks (and he may not even start when he's healthy again), I'm not too comfortable using Favre long-term unless he pulls off classic Favre next week.

Peyton Hillis got me 16 points this week. points i desperately needed since it is AP & Jamaal Charles' bye weeks & Jhavid Best was battling the turf toe. I dropped Lee Evans to get him.
