Ryan Williams

His fantasy value has taken a hit. So far in the first 2 weeks of the season, he has done NOTHING with the opportunity given to him! I don't own Wells, so I don't really need Williams. I keep hearing that R Williams will potentially have great fantasy value later in the season, so do I hold tight with him on the bench, or drop him for someone like Andre Brown or D Richardson?

Also, is it now time to drop Fred Davis for M Bennett?

Thank you!

I would definitely drop him for either of those two.

As for Davis, don't you have someone crappy to drop?

If Pitta is out there I'd take him over Bennett, but Bennett is a very good ad as well.

I wouldn't drop Davis just yet if you don't have to, but I also wouldn't suggest starting him right now, so if you have to, yes I would drop Davis for Pitta or Bennett, in that order.

My worst players on the bench are: ingram, r williams, turbin. I have lynch so I want to hang on to turbin I think. That means drop R Williams for one of the two rbs previously mentioned, or for Pitta/Bennett.

Also, in this league there are a bunch of TEs on the WW. It's a 10 team league, but Fleener, Pitta, Bennett, H Miller, etc. are all still on the bench. I know why you're saying to hold onto FDavis, but there is just so much talent out there at TE that I think I can afford to drop him outright for Pitta or Bennett. We only start one TE with no flex, so I think I'll have a good shot to get Fred back if he get's hot. I just don't like how his production actually went down in week 2, even with Garcon out. Griffin is playing so well that he hasn't needed to rely on his TE. That may change though if he hits that rookie wall.
Decisions decisions...What. To. Do.

PS: The WW claim process is based on first come first serve, so at any given point as long as I'm the first one to put in a claim, I can pickup ANYONE who gets hot or becomes relevant :) Only downside is we have a fee of $2 to drop a player and another $2 to pick a player up, so it can get pretty costly.

get Bennet or Fleener, I also have Ryan Williams and boy was I wrong. Not only is he not producing but he's also fumbling it too :(, my team starters are doing great but I have alot to worry bout when Bye week comes when my bench consist of R. Williams, Blackmon, Britt, Helu, J. Rodgers (none has done much of anthing thus far). I'm giving up on Helu now for that rams backup RB.

Forget Fleener. Pitta is the guy. He's had an enormous amount of targets, he's Flacco's go to guy and safety valve.

He's going to have a huge season.

He's already having a very good one and is on pace for about 1100 and 8 if I'm not mistaken.

If not Pitta, go with Bennett.

Hey VC4Pres,

I had put in my claim for Bennett early on Sunday and didn't want to lose my claim postion on him since it's first come first serve and end up losing both him and a shot at Pitta. I was able to get Bennett, but Pitta is still a FA, so who would I drop for him? Turbin? Ingram? I just dropped R Williams for A Brown and also still have Kevin Smith, Lynch, Spiller. I'm solid at RB, so is it ok to drop Turbin now?

I wouldn't suggest dropping Turbin if you have Lynch.

You're not great at RB either, well let me rephrase that, you're not exceptionally deep. You are great at that position right now.

Honestly, Bennett is really good too, like I said in the other thread, I'm good with this stuff, but I'm just one perspective, so if you liked Bennett better, he's a great option as well. I will say definitively that either Bennett or Pitta is a no brainer over Fleener.

Ingram is an option to drop though.

He's barely going to be start-able unless PT or Sproles went down.

IDK, it's only a 10 teamer with no Flex option, so you're probably best just rostering the one, but I feel like Pitta(and Bennett really) are going to have really big seasons for TE and so might hold some real trade value by week 5 when people understand they are legit and not flukey guys.

You're probably better off trying to keep upgrading your starting lineup with 2 for 1's and 3 for 2's though, giving up an overpay, then fill your newly minted empty spots with these guys.

Then again that idea is always good in theory, but hard to get off in 10 team leagues.

Is Andre Brown out there? What about Darrell Richardson? I think you might be better off with those guys.

Can you list your full current roster?

Ok, so I was embarassed to say, especially after I thought I had it in the bag, but the guy with Calvin Johnson is just not giving him up for the stuff he verbally agreed on (or textually agreed on lol). He has Julio too and it seems he likes Julio even more than Megatron. He prefers at least Harvin and Antonio Brown in a package for Megatron and has asked for 3 of my wrs to get Megatron and Lafell. I'm trying every angle to get him a package without giving up too much. Lafell has been doing well, so I may be more willling to give up 3 wrs for megatron and lafell if he keeps it up. He first wanted rb depth, but with leshoure coming back and Morris stepping up he feels he's deep. He has Ridley, TRich, Morris, Leshoure, Redman, so he really doesn't need any of my backup RBs....I'm all about to give up on getting Megatron in that league. I tried trading another guy Torrey Smith and Decker for AJ Green, but he declined. I'm now thinking of going after Nicks or Andre Johnson.

I did some WW moves since I last talked to you (in CAPS). My roster now looks like:

Stafford
Spiller/lynch/fjax/ANDRE BROWN/ingram/turbin
Harvin/Welker/A Brown/Decker/T Smith
BENNETT
JUSTIN TUCKER (dropped Prater)
nyj dst

I'm thinking of offering Welker and Andre Brown for Andre Johnson. The guy has Bradshaw and may want Brown more than anyone else right now.

Notable WW players are: Cassell, Ryan Fitz, Bradford, A Smith, Freeman, S Hill, Avery, Pitta, Hawkins, Pierre Thomas, celek, rudolph, mike goodson, james jones, aldrick robinson, hartline, hankerson, kendall wright...

I'll tell you, if you can get Mega and LaFell for Welker/One of Harvin or Brown/Smith, jump on that.

I'd even say F it, at this point just give up Welker/Harvin/Brown.

LaFell has looked legit. Welker is definitely going down. Harvin and Brown is about fair value for Mega and Welker for LaFell is lateral to slightly in your favor.

I wouldn't do that deal for Andre Johnson I don't think. He's slowing down and that offense is so run first and if Bradshaw is toast Brown is going to be a very nice RB2 this year and so have value to bring back better.

Love, LOVE, LOVE Nicks and Cruz this year, before those outbursts as well.

Not sure what you can give up to get them though, it's probably going to take a big overpay after last Sunday.

Keep an eye on most of those guys on the WW.

Kind of crappy your friend went back on your trade, but that was close to vetoeable anyway.

I'll give it one more shot before I try to trade welker for wayne or white, like in the other topic. I'll try Megatron,Lafell, Moss for Welker, Harvin, A Brown. Let me see what happens...

Looking better this past Sun and Wells is also starting to pile up his injury latest being that turf toe thing. I was gona start him but didn't realize how good Mia was against the run. So sticking with Ridley @ flex, but if he can muster solid production against Mia I think I'll have my sleeper finally awake :)

If you own Wells, do you drop him now? He's out 6-8 weeks in the IR

Yes, I think Wells is an easy drop. Unless you are in some sort of crazy deep league (14+ teams) or in a dynasty league.

I heard today Bradshaw is starting Sunday, have to imagine they will split carries though. On a different note glad I drafted Williams
