My fantasy league just had our draft today (league is 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex, 1 Kicker, 1 Defense) and I wanted to get some feedback on my draft.

Round 1 pick 10) Trent Richardson
2) Brandon Marshall
3) Maurice Jones-Drew
4) Reggie Wayne
5) Robert Griffin III
6) Jason Witten
7) Tavon Austin
8) Andy Dalton (just in case RG3 gets hurt)
9) Texans Defense
10) Blair Walsh
11) Justin Blackmon
12) Vick Ballard
13) Andre Roberts
14) Shonn Green
15) Tyler Eifert

Honest answer from my first impression. First, how many teams in your league?

I think RG3 was taken way too early, as well as Dalton at 8. You could have probably gotten Luck, Romo or R Wilson at the 8 spot as your starter and they have less question marks than Griffin. You need more RB depth because TRich and MJD are pretty injury prone and I don't see Ballard or Greene cutting it as backups. Blackmon was taken too early too. Otherwise, you had an OK draft, but I think you would have been stronger waiting a bit more on the QB and stacking up on RBs. You can never have too many RBs. WR and QB are deep, so typically you want to wait longer on those positions. I'm not hating on your team, but just giving you the feedback you asked for.

Thanks for the feedback.

There are 12 teams in my league but I had to get RG3 when I did: Wilson, Luck, Romo, and Ryan were all off the board and QBs were flying off the board by round 5, the only other QB I was looking at other than RG3 was Kaepernick but I decided to pass on him because of the Crabtree injury. I had to get a good backup because of the injury troubles RG3 has and had to act fast with Dalton because the best remaining QBs on the board were Flacco and Vick. Players were flying off the board and no teams have any depth, Bradshaw is frequently hurt for the Colts and I expect Ballard to get some touches this year.

Ah, yes, I guess I'm stuck in mock mode where people wait to draft QBs. That's rarely the case in real fantasy drafts as everyone jumps on them. In my draft this weekend I'll probably use one of my first 4 or 5 picks on a QB, even though in my head I know I should wait. Your pick is justified then.

Looking at the Browns roster Trent is gonna dominate the offense imo he'll get the touches and the catches in that offensive which has no WRs. I'm not really worried about durability issues because he's still very young
