Are you playing a PPR league (do you get points per reception)?

Calvin is a great WR but taking a WR first round is not usually a strategy I advocate because WR is by far the deepest position in fantasy. And it is difficult to predict TD production year to year for even the best receivers.

But ultimately your scoring rules should dictate the strategy you take in drafting.

Good luck. In my leagues I wouldn't know my draft slot til 30 mins prior to draft time.

PPR leagues you could justify Calvin that early but a running back who catches the ball well is usually a better choice. Doug Martin would be a guy I'd look at because he is a beast on the ground, had a good amount of catches last year, and is in a good offense.
