Should I accept this trade?

Post#1 » by Rafael122 » Tue Aug 27, 2013 6:39 pm

Being offered Larry Fitzgerald and Lamar Miller for Jay Cutler and Steven Jackson.

I've got Matt Ryan as my main QB, with Vick as my backup.

Running backs as of now: Spiller and Jackson.

Receivers: TY Hilton, Michael Floyd, Kenny Britt, DeAndre Hopkins

1 point per 10 rushing yards.
6 pts per rushing touchdown
.5 per reception, 10 reception yards per point
6 points per reception touchdown

It was an auction draft, hence I was able to get Cutler/Vick/Ryan on the same team. My receivers are terrible, if I can get Fitz, it's a nice balanced team.

Thoughts?
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

100% go through with this trade. Cutler should really never see playing time for you so it really becomes Steven Jackson for Larry Fitzgerald and Lamar Miller. Given how much help you need at the wide out position, this trade is a no brainer

Yes, man take it. The week to week difference between Miller and Jackson is unlikely to be large, and Cutler will never see the starting line up for you. Getting Fitz for that is a no-brainer.

I disagree with the Miller vs SJax part because I feel SJax is leaps and bounds better than L Miller. SJax's ADP is around 15, while Miller is in the late 30's. Either way, you still do the trade because you're getting Fitz for Cutler, which is amazing!

I'm not sold on Lamar Miller but he has decent upside, and considering the lack of talent at wr you pull the trigger without doubt. Just out of curiosity, is that a 12 teamer or 14 teamer?

Yeah, I may have been a little hasty in my Miller v. Jackson statement. I do feel good about Miller being a true lead back, because Daniel Thomas appears to be garbage, but he hasn't proven it yet.
