Julian Edelman

Is he worth a pickup and play on a week to week basis, or was his week 1 performance an anomaly?

I'd pick him up without hesitation in a standard no money league, but the league I'm in is $10 per waiver pickup.

I think he is worth a pickup and week to week play, I could see him being bradys go to guy when Amendola misses games....which obviously happens frequently.

He's not going to be a top 30 receiver every week, but he will be when DA is hurt, which is often. Probably worth it (he's probably a top 20 guy this week with Sudfeld also unlikely to play and Vereen out).

This week he's a super high upside WR3 play if not WR2.

I'm expecting Rex to stick Cromartie on him tonight if DA's is indeed ruled out. If that's the case it could be a long night for Edelman, either way I'm going to give him a shot this week.

FYI, I'm always thinking in the terms of PPR unless asked to do otherwise. I usually mention it, but forgot on this one, the above earlier post was assuming PPR.

I should have looked where you said standard, although truth be told, I would have said exactly the same thing for either format.

Just read Amedola is likely out 2 to 6 weeks as well, that only bodes well for Edelman.

He got 15 points in the standard league and 21 in the ppr league. Can't say I'm disappointed.
